Bay State Disposal

I rented a couple dumpsters from Bay State for a recent home renovation, and overall I was very happy with the service. They were very responsive in terms of drop-off and pick-up times, and their phone customer service was helpful. They used to charge $1/day as a rental fee, but they bumped this up to $3/day, which is understandable but still kind of a bummer. Overall no complaints though.

We were satisfied with the service we were receiving from Bay State Disposal...until damage was done to our driveway. We initially said that we would not be putting in a claim but we reconsidered after seeing the damage done by the truck was considerable. We notified the driver because we were concerned it may negatively impact his personal job performance. He said it happens all the time and not to worry about it. Before he left asked us to sign an 'acknowledgement' that the dumpster was picked up. In the past the dumpsters were picked up a without any type of signature but we didn't think much about signing an acknowledgement. When we put in a claim to fix the damage caused by the truck we were told we signed a waiver on that day releasing this company from any accountability for the damage. In review of the situation we realized we were only presented with something to sign this one time and it was dishonestly presented as a simple acknowledgement that a service was provided. Sure enough there was fine print in the document we signed saying they were not responsible for damages done by their heavy equipment. This is a very dishonest business practice and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

They were on time, the pick-up was on time, they were very good. They gave me an online discount coupon that they had on their website that I saw. The price was very good considering what was disposed, it was the least expensive for the amount of tons that I had to get rid of. There's nothing to see what they could have done wrong.

Bay State Disposal is excellent. They were the only provider I could find that had front loading dumpsters with lockable lids. The dumpster was in great condition and the driver was very professional. He didn't just dump and run, he worked with me to get the dumpster in the best location. BayState also takes everything (i think except stone or driveway asphalt - separate service) which was perfect as I am cleaning out my house and I had old paint cans no one else would take. I highly recommend Bay State

,I chose this company because of recommendation and good rating. Person making reservation was nice. I speciifically requested a same day drop off and pick for many reasons. I was assured they could deliver by 7am and pick up that same afternoon by 3pm. They delivered at noon and did not pick up until next day. I was about to cancel when the driver showed up. The only positive thing about the experience is that they have a magician for a driver who was able to maneuver into my narrow driveway without ruining my fence.

This is the second time I have rented a dumpster from Baystate Disposal. They are courteous on the phone, are flexible with arranging drop-off and pick up, and show up on time. There isn't a whole lot to say here, except that the price was good, there were no additional fees(sometimes there is a $1/day rental so you don't keep the dumpster forever), and the drivers have always been friendly, professional, and didn't drive on the lawn or knock anything over while placing the dumpster where I wanted it. The dumpsters were clean, so there was no dirt or markings on the driveway after the dumpster was picked up. I'd absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.

I rented a roll off 3 ton dumpster from them for construction-- They answer the phone quickly. Their prices are very reasonable, less then several others... They delivered the dumpster next day, and left it oriented exactly how I had asked. The dumpster was clean, well maintained and attractive (as dumpsters go :) ... no rust, no huge dents, no weird writing or signs) The picked up the next day when I called them. I intend to re-use them in the future when performing a deck replacement.
