Came out to clean. Did the job and two weeks later the chimney was clogged again. I paid him over $200 and he was only here 2 minutes and I don't think he even cleaned past the first floor. They refused to come back out. My son's and I had to clean it, we took buckets of stuff/gunk out, and now it works just fine. Never use that guy again.

He cleaned the chimney, which did not need sweeping, at the bottom where leaves and sticks had accumulated over years, repaired cinder block frame, he put in a iron door so as to make cleaning easier next time as there was no chimney cleaning door originally, placed a cover over the chimney top, replaced flashing around chimney . He left the basement as clean as he found it before working there.

I got a chimney inspection from N M Masonry after a general inspection on my house I am in the process of closing on. I can say I learned more about my fireplace from the general inspection then I did the chimney inspection. I ordered a Level 2 Fireplace Inspection which every bit of research I have done all shows detailed inspection where the inspector typically uses video tools to examine the whole fireplace. I was expecting a summary of the inspection as well as pictures for my record and all I got after reaching out to the inspector was "Chimney inspection 5 inch liner in there that is clean.there is creosote buildup in the smoke chamber should be wire brushed and clean before using. also some repointing in firebox in Basement" - exact words. I will say Neil was definitely very pleasant and easy to work with but I feel I spent money for a service that had no benefit and did not truly get the inspection I was expecting. Also, after the inspection instead of sending me the summary of his findings he sent me a quote for the repairs trying to get me to work with him further. I am very unsatisfied and wish I would have saved my money and if I can prove that I did not receive the service I paid for then I will be going after getting my money back from this company.
