+ 0 moreThe little extra customer service and lower price sold us on Amherst Earth Product. We usually go to a more well known place on 101A for bark mulch. Pay inside, drive near the mulch, dump into the truck & drive away. A very efficient impersonal type of service, which is adequate for the product. They had closed on Saturday so I looked for an alternate supplier. I called to get pricing on bark mulch and to confirm the hours. The person working said he was able to stay a little late if I needed him to. My husband arrived before closing time they filled up the truck with bark mulch. The person working was professional and very helpful. He seemed to really care about the customer. The place on 101A just lost a customer.

+ -1 moreI ordered mulch on Friday. The company said that I would get it on Saturday. I called on Saturday morning to ask for a time, and they told me they would be there in the afternoon. I WAITED. Around 5pm, they left a voicmail on my phone saying that they would not make it, but would be there first thing Sunday morning. I WAITED. Around 11:30 am, My wife called. They said that they forgot, and could the deliver the mulch on Monday. When I called, upset, the guy immediately said that he would cancel the order if I wasn't happy. There was never an apology or effort to make this right. I would not recomment these very unprofessional people to anyone.

Description of Work: I ordered a mix of loam and compost from Amherst. The qualify of the product was excellent. The driver delivered the material when he said he would, and was careful with the placement of the load. The price was quite reasonable.

+ 0 moreI have used this company a number of times and each time has been a great experience. The quality of their mulch and loam is excellent and better that other companies I have tried. Their deliveries are always on the day promised, the drivers are courteous, and they ensure it is dropped where requested and without causing any unwanted side-effects such as damage to lawn or oil stains in my driveway. The topsoil I ordered recently was so rich my new lawn shot up almost overnight! Their prices seem reasonable as well. Great place!
