We hired Nine to Five Construction to repair our aging front porch, and they did an outstanding job. The structure had serious rot and was unsafe, but they replaced the support beams, rebuilt the stairs, and installed new composite decking and railings. They were professional, fast, and the final result looks amazing. Highly recommend!

????? Amazing Work on Our Deck! We recently hired Brandon to repair and reinforce our aging deck, and we couldn?t be happier with the results! From the very first consultation, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure the project was done right. Our deck had some structural issues, including loose railings and warped boards, and he not only fixed those but also suggested some small upgrades that made a huge difference?like adding extra support beams. Brandon even found a small issue with our stair foundation that could have become a safety hazard down the line and fixed it at no extra charge! Although the project took a few days longer than estimated due to the winter weather, Brandon was on time every day, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after himself ?no stray nails or debris left behind. He even took the time to explain proper maintenance so we can keep our deck in great shape for years to come. Thank you!

We trusted Steven Cote and Gemini because they had done our deck last summer. We thought it would be a great idea to have him do our attic bedroom remodel. He did not provide a contract for our multi-phase, attic bedroom project, but we trusted him. He required payment in full ($3395) for the first phase, and it was provided, because we trusted him. Steven was not responsive to our phone calls or concerns regarding the building permit. He frequently changed delivery or work schedule which made it difficult for us to know when he was actually going to show up. He worked less than 3 hours on our project, a project that was to take 4-6 weeks. The project is still unfinished. We paid him $3395 up front for framing of an attic and all that was done was hammering about 10 boards for framing. Contacted the State of NH. It turned into a **he said/she said** experience. He lied, exaggerated, and speculated, trying to minimize and justify his keeping $3395 for 3 hours of framing work. Tried to reach out to Steven in an attempt to come to a fair resolution and partial refund for the partial work that was done. All attempts to resolve were unsuccessful. I expected more from Steven. Had we been men, Steven would not have treated us or handled this situation as he did. Beyond a bad experience. Extremely disappointed.

If I could rate them ZERO stars, I would. This builder is NOT recommended. Save yourself headaches and money and find a reputable builder for your project. According to Home Advisor, this business is no longer an approved Home Advisor member. That is for good reason. It has been a nightmare. We needed our third floor finished for a bedroom. Our family is expanding. Steven Cote and his son, Brandon, looked at the space. The project was to be completed in stages. We agreed on the work to be done. We asked for an invoice so we could pay for the first stage. Steve told us, it's only framing. RED FLAG. We were also told that payment for the first stage was to be paid in full ($3395). RED FLAG. We trusted them because they had completed a couple of other small projects for us. Over three weeks, they showed up to deliver the studs for framing twice and then showed up to work a couple of hours once. There were always delays, mostly related to their non-communication or poor communication. Just in trying to coordinate the delivery of the lumber, I would text, email, or call Steven and sometimes I would get a response up to a week later, but often not at all. We discovered he never pulled a permit for the work. The last time Steven emailed, he wrote he would ;...get that invoice out.... That invoice is worthless, working backwards to try and justify charges for keeping the total cost of framing when he worked for a total of maybe 3 hours framing. We are still trying to recover our money. Do not, do not, do not give these people your money. Not recommended.

I'd rate the service higher than 5 stars! While they were on site to address one difficult-to-place roofing project, I mentioned three small, but very annoying, door problems. Those problems were promptly solved. (Other contractors showed no interest. Indeed, one scheduled a visit, but didn't show or attempt to reschedule.)

Work done was top-notch however it took almost six months to complete a simple job with little communication. While some bad weather interfered there was plenty of times with good weather and no sign of them coming to do any work. Of course when they rushed to finish, without any notice they would be finishing on a certain date, wanted payment right away. To top it off, tried to add $600 at the end of the job due to them forgetting to include an item in the quote/contract.

Great company lead by a couple with lots of experience. They spent the time to listen to my specific needs and made excellent suggestions to address the problems. They were able to fit me in quickly and were reasonable, respectful and precise in their work. I would use them again in the future.

This company is a pleasure to do business with. They are flexible and accommodating and show up when they say they will. They did a great job replacing my old porch. I am a very satisfied customer!

do NOT hire this builder. after signing a contract, communication was almost nonexistent. Steve Cote mislead us on the start date, and once he did start, we were lucky if he showed up once a week. unfortunately, we signed a second contract for a different job. we changed our mind on the second job after seeing his mediocre work on the first job, it's been two months and we are still fighting him to get our deposit on second contract back. maybe it's time for NH to require contractors to get a license.
