Nulook Construction

We had contacted Nu-Look in the spring, then we put the project on hold for family reasons. We contacted them again in August and Dave was very patient and kind about coming out again. We had some design changes that we had considered over the summer and Dave was very good about incorporating the changes into the project. They had an open spot in their schedule so we had them start. They came when they said and got right to work removing the old concrete. Unfortunately the process ran across Labor Day, but that was our fault, not the contractor's. When work resumed it progressed well. The workers were even nice to the neighbor boys who wanted to watch. The stages of the project allowed us to keep using a front entrance which was very convenient - it would have been a hassle to loose both front doors at the same time. The work was performed well and seems strong and well finished. The front porch roof ended up being a bit more work than they planned, but they came in right on the estimate. The job was so neat that we get comments and quot;that looks like it was built with the rest of the houseand quot;. Nu-Look did a fine job that enhanced the appearance of our house. They did a very thorough job on the site clean up also, which we appreciated. If we need have any more work done we would have Nu-Look bid on it. They are a small outfit, but appear to apply craftsmanship to their work. The only constructive criticism would be to see more things written down. Dave was very good about remembering all our changes and requests, we just happen to like things written down.

They were great. There was nothing that I disliked about them. I had used another provider to do the job, and they didn't do very good work, so that was why I hired them.
