This was a remodel project that started with the simple idea of adding three sky lights to the ceiling with a square tunnel from each light in the roof to the ceiling in the livingroom. It was evident when the first light & tunnel were installed that this was not the look we wanted. We ended by taking the whole ceiling out of the livingroom and extending the walls to the roof. Roof was reinforced and insulated. Then covered with a very glossy laminate flooring. Turned out way classier than we expected. The contractor was very good and had novel suggests. Taking the whole ceiling out was a terrible mess, all the original blown insulation dumping into the living room. But they kept it picked-up and removed each day. Floor was covered all the time to prevent damage. Of course the roof over the livingroom had to be reshingled which theyalso did. We would have them back.
Description of Work: Added three sky lights to the livingroom ceiling.
