Peeley Irrigation

We hired him the first part of March with assurance rom him that the work would be completed by May 12th. He was paid $5,000 up front. After the first week of April came and went, we contacted him asking when he would be out to get started. He stated he would be to our house the following week. He didn't show up then nor contact us in any way. Every time we called him, he would say he would be coming the following day or so. Then he wouldn't show up. This continued until the week of May 6th when he finally showed up and started the irrigation system and plant beds. We payed for rock to be placed in all of the beds and he put in half mulch instead of rock. When I complained he said he would put more rock in but he never did. He laid the drip line but never completed it. We ended up buying supplies and working on it ourselves.. Reason being that we had bought dozens of plants for him to put in and he never showed up to do it so we had to put them in ourselves and needed a way to water them. He was suppose to order trees and never did but kept saying he was going to. Then he started asking if we wanted to just find some ourselves and he would put them in. We told him no we were not interested in doing it that way. So again, he said he'd order them but didn't. He came out on May 14th and trenched for an electric line to go to our steel building. Mind you, he trenched through the driveway where he had already laid down the crushed concrete. He was suppose to smooth that all out once the electrician laid the line in the trench but he never showed back up after that day, May 14th. So, that left us with having to fill that in ourselves. We called him repeatedly, to which he would say,( if he answered that is), that he would be coming and then never show up. Finally, he quit answering our calls. You can't leave him a voicemail because it's always full. We have text over and over as well but have never received any response. In total, he was paid $9,500. He asked me for a check for $4,500 on May 14th. Which I gave him, unfortunately. He said he would be back in 4 days, and we have not seen him since.
