satellite tv service
+ -1 moreWe are stuck for another 2 years! We get zero cell service and are 12 miles from town so options are not available.
Description of Work: We upgraded our satellite Internet because they said we kept going over our FAP usage allowance. Their commercial makes it sound like you can do anything you want. Not true at all! We only surf Internet and Facebook. We do not download music or leave anything on when not in front of the computer. We also need weather as we are 12 miles from town. They constantly say we are over and we have no way of knowing how much we are using as we are using it! So we can barely load a page because they slow our service down to only 60% for about 3 weeks out of the month. We also pay about $70 a month for this bad service! The government says since millions share this satellite Dish can regulate because of the Fair Access Policy. And they can lie on their commercials too? CAN NOT DO ANYTHING WE WANT WITH DISH! PERIOD! We have no provider choice except satellite Internet either!

+ -1 moreI am technically challenged and had no idea how to work my DVR. I never use it and could care less about it. I have been paying for it every month for the past 5 years. I told them that I did not want the DVR and they said they would take it off my bill, but they sent me another box when I asked them not to. I am handicapped and am not able to connect the new box that they sent. I have called in and got it taken off my bill, and I have made sure that they do not have access to my credit card information any more. Last night I waited on hold for 1 hour and 47 minutes. Dealing with Dish Network has been very tiresome. When I called in to pay the bill, one gentleman told me that I had until January to figure everything out, but then when I called back they did not have any record of what he told me and they were still charging me the late fees for the new box.
Description of Work: I have been a customer for over 5 years and pay around $76.00 a month.
