The service provided was fine.

RS Renovations was referred to me by a roofing contractor, to perform work on both hailstorm-related and non-insurance covered items. Mr. Hall was prompt, courteous, thorough and seemed highly knowledgeable. He also appears to be very much in demand, as It took ten days to receive an estimate from him. While I have no basis to comment on the quality of his work, my reasons for not using RS Renovations were threefold: 1.) Mr. Hall seemed to be utterly oblivious to the fact of who he would be working for. My calls to him were never returned; he would reply instead to the roofing contractor, who would pass his response on to me. To me, that was inexplicable and a deal-breaker any time. 2.) He failed to provide the line-itemized bid that I requested; instead he provided just three aggregate sums, one for each described area of work and directly contrary to what I clearly and specifically asked for. 2.) His bids were so much higher than what the insurance would pay, and when compared to other contractor bids for the out-of-pocket-cost work, that I refused to even submit it to my insurance company or to try and negotiate anything with him; the gulf was just too wide. And because his bid was not itemized, I could not begin to tell exactly where the problem areas were in the pricing.

I called from the review I saw on Angie's list. Asked about getting a bid. Was here the next day. The bid took 1 hour-measuring and remeasuring reading instructions on the flooring and the glue, sink, vent, examining the materials to see what he had to work with gave compliment on our choice of sink and faucet . 1 week later as promised the bid. Work was to start late Aug early Sept. He had no problems working with our electrician or the fact being you are dealing with design/colors we wanted to supply our own materials. I then called our electrician and got the 2 of them in touch. Work started 8/19 just 2 weeks or less after contract was signed. He worked extremely well with our electrician each taking care of their areas of expertise but communicating. Our kitchen was only out of order 1 week. Never a mess was left at the end of the day nor was their a dumpster to live with-all trash hauled off daily. You could move around in your home without tripping over a mess-very neat and orderly while working. The company motto is Workmanship with Pride. This is not hype our home was treated as his own with respect and craftsmanship beyond our wildest dreams. We wanted just a face lift on this old house (built in the 30s) but keeping the simple country charm of the old house. Rick did it. He is skilled beyond belief. Very neat in work and appearance. Very polite no swearing. If you have a older home that needs a face lift Rick is the guy. Works Omaha, Council Bluffs, Bellevue and the Plattsmouth area. Older homes he loves and is not afraid to tackle them bringing them back to life. New homes he also works on. Three weeks the estimate for the jobs. Done right on target. He may not work 8-5 but the job gets done. 1 day he only was here for 2 hours but kept the project on schedule.

It went well. Rick was easy to have in the home and his work was very good. I would recommend him to anyone. We love our new kitchen!!

There were times when we had to wait for materials to arrive, and for the person to finish another job, before he could get to me. But I was mostly satisfied with the workk that was performed.

We are so happy for the outstanding service we received from Rick. They had to remove the old tile, toilet and vanity in order to replace the tile floor. They also had to replace the subfloor and do some drywall patching in the bathroom and in the garage, where the water leaked down to. We love our new bathroom! It looks great. We could not be happier and are telling everyone we can about the excellent service we received. If we ever need any more work done to our home Rick will be the first one we call.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AS SCHEDULED. PERFORFORMED ALL CONTRACTED WORK, CLEANED THE AREA, MADE ALL NECESSARY MODIFICATION, REMOVED ALL DEBIS, AND LEFT THE WORK SITE CLEAN.
