+ 0 moreI called several appliance shops in the Plattsmouth and Bellevue area after we had a power surge. The rates per quite crazy. I asked several friends who they would recommend and I had 4-5 people tell me to go with Johns Appliance Sales and Service. The lady who answers the phone did not give me a very good impression however, the service man, Matt was very well knowledgeable, efficient and professional. I was cringing to find out what the actual price was going to be but when I saw the bill I very relieved. Johns Appliance was much cheaper than the competition and was able to come out the next day after I called them. I would highly recommend this company if you have any repairs that needs done.
Description of Work: Microwave, water heater, washing machine.

Description of Work: In person did go to their store twice and stated I have some items in my house that need to be replaced or repaired. I ask for an estimate and someone to have a look at this items and then provide me an estimate. Three weeks past and no response. Maybe they need a new office manager that can handle appointments and appreciates new customers?

+ -1 moreOur experience with them has been amazing. They are quick, honest and trustworthy. They do a great job. I do not remember the cost of their last service but it was absolutely a good price and I was very pleased with it. We would absolutely continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: The last time that we used John's Appliance Sales & Service was within a year ago for repairing my washing machine.

+ -1 moreThe techncian was waiting for me in my driveway. He was extremely knowledgable and figured out the problem, told me the cost of the part and had it installed in less than 1/2 hr. Best service of its kind.
Description of Work: Was able to troubleshoot broken AC unit in under 10 minutes....I had previously called another company out 2 separate times for this unit and they never fixed the problem.

+ 0 moreIf you need a furnace, an appliance, or a repair, Call John's. This is it. They are the best and want your repeat business, not to just take your cash and run.
Description of Work: John's Appliance is the best place around whether you need a new furnace, a new appliance, or a repair. 10 years ago we bought a new furnace for our old house. Ron, the technician, listened to what I wanted and designed a system for me that has more than paid for itself and is quiet and efficient to run. Ron made friends with all of my pets, and they still love to see him. My furnace did fail me just once, on Christmas Eve of course, and Ron came up and made the necessary (small) repair and didn't even charge me an arm and a leg. I have bought appliances from John's, and am thrilled with all of them. The price was very competitive and the delivery fast and courteous. I do have some old appliances that the former owners of this house left me with, and the repair men are superb. The cost is well within reason, and the repair men are honest efficient, and polite. I have on several occasions left the repair men, and woman, alone in the house and just came home to working appliances. I have known John for 15 years now and his is one of the 3 businesses in Plattsmouth that I patronize as I am treated there like a valued and valuable customer. A woman can feel confident doing business with John's. They are honest and top notch in all they do.

+ 0 moreI spent under a $100. John the mechanic came out the weekend before Christmas on a Sunday, which was his only day off. I bought my furnace from him approximately 5 years ago and it has been one of the best things that I have ever bought. They were slow getting it in because they only have the one service technician and he is popular and backed up, however he made sure I never went without heat. He got my duct work in do I did not freeze, so that was wonderful. They have always been courteous, prompt, and polite. They are very well-priced and just excellent people to deal with.
Description of Work: I used Johns Appliance Sales & Service on 19th or 20th of December and he replaced a part in my furnace so I would have heat and also did a free inspection of my furnace.

+ -1 moreIt is an older house. The stove is 40+ years old and the hot water heater is 20+ years. They had to do some work in order to get the new and old parts to connect. They came later in the evening which i appreciated. They also reset a thermostat.
