Welcome to Overhead Door Company of Omaha located in Papillion, Nebraska. Overhead Door Corporation pioneered the garage door & opener industry, producing the first upward acting garage door in 1921 and the first electric opener in 1926. To this day Overhead Door Corporation has the broadest research & development program in the industry. This commitment to engineering gives us the best tested and highest quality products in the industry. These are the main reasons our corporation has more than 400 independent Distributors nationwide. Overhead Door Company of Omaha is the only local company that offers these products in the Omaha metro area.Overhead Door Co of Omaha has been under the same ownership since 1981. It has grown to include 31 full-time employee's with well over 250 years of combined experience in the garage door industry. Through incentive base pay policies and a wide range of employee benefits we have retained the best staff in Omaha. We do it all We sell products ranging from residential door & openers to commercial door and openers to rolling steel and dock equipment, as well as a service department that services all brands. This gives us diversity in weathering storms in all economic conditions to know we will be around. We have never laid off a employee since our ownership in 1981. We can handle it Last year we installed well over 2,000 new construction residential doors and 1,000 openers on new construction alone. Through our office policies and dedicated employees we can get the job done as we have for over 100 new construction purchasers last year. We back it up We strive to do everything right the first time. Through our inspection program our sales people check 12 areas for quality. We averaged over 73 inspections per month last year. We are the most dedicated management staff of quality in Omaha. If something gets by us you will receive same or next day service to get it right. Call for immediate service.

Overall just a super job!
Description of Work: My house is nearly 100 years old with a detached 2-car garage and doors that slide back and forth instead of up and down. I had an old garage door opener put in by a handyman that was on its last legs. I was afraid that no one else would be able to handle the side to side installation, but this company did a great job! The installer, Kal, was a master craftsman with years of experience and took a special interest in this unusual installation. He first tried several innovative approaches to fix the old one, and when that wasn't possible, put in the new one. The job came in under the estimate. Both times he was here (for the estimate and then for the installation) he came when he said he would and did the job in the time he said it would take. Quality of the door opener is great. l.

We were pretty happy with the repair job they did. They came to do the repair a day or two after my service call. They showed up on time and got the job done right. They had a fairly reasonable price and cleaned up well after themselves. The door has worked great since.

Overhead Door Company Of Omaha removed and hauled away our old door. It was a really great bargain. There wasn't any additional charge for them to haul off the old door and their service guys were very friendly and helpful. The door was great and it was much better and thicker than our original door. There was even room for us to insulate it should we choose to before winter comes.
