MIKE SZYNSKIE HOME IMPROVEMENTS

He said he would show up at a specific time and I was there, but he never showed up. I tried to call him the next day, but didn't reach anyone. A week later, someone called me from his office wanting to come over for the work, but I declined as I had already found someone to do the job.

We are pleased with the roof part of the work and the price was reasonable compared to the other estimates we received. The only bad experience we had was the skylights were only installed from the outside and Mike Szynskie refused to come out seal them up from the inside so my master bathroom is now very cold since it is not sealed on the inside. I called the skylight manufacturer and they said that part of the installation process is to seal them on the inside of the house. So I will have to pay someone else to finish the job. The clean up could have been better as well, there was a lot of roofing waste in the gutters and some on the lawn and in bushes. We found that they do an ok job but the customer service is lacking. They agreed to install a 4 foot long leaf guard, which I really appreciated, but he complained about having to do it and complained about having to visit my house too many times during the job.

He did fine. We were happy with his estimate and his work. They were the best estimate we got. It's only been 1 1/2 months but it looks good. We would use them again.

The lady I spoke with in the office to schedule an estimate for a roof inspection was rude. She asked questions that I didn't feel were reevant to asking for an estimate. An example : Who is your insurance company? When I told her I didn't think answers were in line for requesting an estimate she sounded like she was not concerned about my call or my business. She took my address and phone number but no one ever called or came out to do an estimate.

It was a very good experience. We had called four or five places and only he called me right back. He came out and gave us a bid of a $1000 cheaper then what another bid we had been given. He was referred to me from someone who I worked with. We were very happy with the work. He explained the whole process to us. He called me a couple days in advance to let me know when they were going to start. He was there when he said he would be and it took three days just like he said it would to complete the project. They cleaned up well. I would definitely recommend them.

I absolutely loved his work. He is very good at what he does. I got him off the list. Their price was pretty good. I have some more work to be done in the spring and I am going to use them.

Mike got the job done quickly with local labor. We were able to get a lot done over the phone. Which saved weeks waiting for a new roof.

I was very satisfied with the work he did. It was the not being reliable thing that got me. He did not show up for the appointment that he set up. When he finally did show up, he only worked for about 2 hours and said he had to go out of town for a few days and would continue the work when he got back. He did come back and finish the work when he got back in town. I thought the price was good.

Mike showed up on time, and did a very thorough job repairing my roof. I was very impressed by his professionalism, and he made sure that I understood and approved just what needed to be done.

Mike is a very experience roofer he's been in the business a long time and knows what he is doing. I really felt comfortable with him working on my roof because he's such a nice man. He did it in a very timely manner and had everything picked up and put in its place before he left.
