Response from Yard Market Nursery
[member name removed], Thank you for your feedback, we greatly appreciate it! We are sorry that you feel we executed at a level that is below par. As you can see from the email communication outlined below, we tried to get a little more information about your needs and you refused to provide us with any additional details about the project. Some minor details would have been a tremendous help. At Yard Market we strive to operate as efficiently as possible in order to keep costs low and provide the best customer experience possible. In order to do this it is our policy to gather as many details as possible about a project, this is especially important when gathering information about a project that is a considerable distance from our nursery. Since you were not willing to provide us with any additional details it was impossible for us to guess your needs. In many instances such as this we are able to provide same day service by sending out one of our dump trucks and/or dump trailers with more than enough material to accommodate your needs. We do this on a daily basis with countless customers to their complete satisfaction. That is a much more efficient business model than sending an employee to your location without any details, having them return to the nursery, and then sending out another driver and truck. Our goal was to take care of your needs in an efficient and cost effective manner. Unfortunately you were not willing to help us better understand your needs. We work with customers all over Nebraska and Iowa on a daily basis, ranging from across the street to several hours away so we are obviously more than willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy the needs and wishes of our customers. Again, we appreciate your business and thank you for taking the time to post a review. If there is anything else we can do, please do not hesitate to contact us. Do you know the square feet or yards, or cubic feet or yards of the material you need? Unfortunately, we do not have anyone that can come up and measure it. We appreciate your business and thank you for it and look forward to helping you again. I am simply trying to get a better understanding of your needs. A significant amount to one person might be two yards; where as a significant amount to another person might mean two hundred yards. I am trying to help you determine what you need, that is all. It does not have anything to do with not wanting your business. If you can give us some kind of indication of what you are looking for I would be more than happy to help. Sincerely, Date: Thu, 24 Apr 2014 09:24:14 Subject: Re: Yard Market - Missouri Valley From: Yard Market To: Customer I told you what I needed done, it is up to you to come and measure and give me a price, it is not that far to come here, I have managed to drive to your business and buy things for my yard but not anymore. I would have even paid a little more for you to come here, it's not my job to measure that is your job. Check it out I gave you a great review on Angie's list. ____________________________________ Thanks again for your feedback!!! Yard Market
