Description of Work: He turned a golden colored oak floor into a darker colored floor. Sanded, stained and varnished. Price did not exceed the estimate and timing was as estimated.

+ -1 moreMy living room and dining room floor was quite old (installed probably in 1940's). The floor consisted of pine flooring with little finish left on it and obviously very dry. I also had some areas that needed patched. Since this type of flooring is no longer available, they pulled back some carpeting in one of my closets, removed some pine flooring from there to do the patch work in the living room. They they patched the closet with some newer type of finished flooring. Results were amazing. The patches in the living room look great and my closet is back the way it was before they cam. After the patch, they sanded the floor, put a filler on to make the entire floor smooth and then refinished the floor with three layers of polyurethane. They started the job on a Wednesday and it was finished by Friday noon. They stayed in contact to keep me informed of the times they would be returning for each coat of finish. They were punctual, efficient and clean. The floor looks great! I am very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them to others. If I ever need more floors done, I will definitely call them back. The pricing was quite reasonable for the amount of work they did.
