Tyler's Pool and Home Care

Unfortunately, my experience with Tyler & co. has been less than stellar. I can't really comment on his actual work he or his team did as they never got truly started. We were looking for a pool guy to verify if we needed a new liner, estimate how much it would cost to replace if needed, clean and open our pool. Tyler was contacted on a Wednesday 7/1 who said he would be out that next day after 4pm to look at pool. Tyler never showed up and no call. I called and no answer. I waited a couple of weeks and called again on Wednesday 7/23 and spoke to Tyler. He apologized for not calling back. He said he misplaced my number and asked if he could still come out to look at pool. We agreed he would come out on Saturday 7/25. He asked a good time for me and I said any time before 4pm on Saturday. He said okay I will be out at 10am. Took down all my address info, etc. 7/25 Saturday morning 10am came and went. I called him 3 times before noon. I left a voicemail for him stating if I don't hear from by 1pm I would just cut my losses and move on to another pool company. No response. At 335pm that evening Tyler called. Stated he was in Iowa when I called that morning and did not get any service. He asked if I was at home now, I said no and would not be for another 40 mins or so. He said he would just go to my house and wait then as he was almost to Bellevue. We got home and he was there and looked at pool. He took off pool cover, said liner looked fine. He asked to fill our pool completely. Said once pool was full he would have someone come back in on Monday 7/27 to begin that process with pool. Monday 7/27 came and went. No one showed up and no phone call. I called Tyler and left a VM at 6:14 and no call back. Wednesday 7/29 Tyler and I played phone tag and did not connect. Thursday 7/30 10am Tyler left a VM stating we were on schedule for him to come out to begin pool process that day or Friday morning the latest. Friday 7/31 Tyler's associate showed up that morning to begin pool cleaning process. As he started the pump was plugged into an outlet in back of house that over loaded and breaker shut off. After breaker was turned back on, associate came back saying pump seized up and he could not do anything more with it. He said I would need to call Tyler to see what to do now, but he needed to leave to go onto next job. He also said he would call Tyler so he is aware and go from there. Before he left he did say to me "Make sure you stay on Tyler. If you need to, keep calling him until he responds." I texted Tyler that I was not going to be available that day but if he could call my husband regarding the pump situation. No response. Called Tyler on 8/6 as we had not heard a word from him or anyone from his company. Left a VM stating that if I did not get a response back from him within a day that he should no longer bothering trying to reach out to us. We will be moving on to another pool company. No response. Unfortunately, we had no communication at all from this company. Gave him more than one chance to step up and he did not. I would not recommend this company unless you are willing to chase this person down to even find out if he is worth all the time and effort. My patience wore out before that even happened.
