Two Men And A Truck

They were quick and professional. They didn't break anything. They were great. Their price was par for the industries around here.

Two suggestions to help you avoid my disaster of a move: 1) If your load is likely to be larger than will fit in, say, a large private truck or van, or 2) If your load contains books or other heavy items, or 3) If there is more than one flight of stairs - 1) Insist on a morning start time, and 2) Insist on an in-person estimate. I did neither of these things. In my first contact with the company I explained that I was moving from the third floor in a building with no elevator, to a two-story, four-level house. My first email estimate was ridiculously low (10 boxes?) - I pointed out that it was a two-bedroom, not a one-bedroom, apartment. In subsequent emails I noted that I had a lot of stuff, including 28 boxes of books. This didn't seem to cause any alarm, and trucks from this company were in and out of my apartment complex frequently, so I did not request an in-person estimate, and I accepted a 1:30 PM start time. The crew arrived at 4PM, not 1:30. They took one look at the layout and the amount of boxes I had, and cancelled the move. They did take my bed to the new house and assemble it, and they did arrange for a crew to meet me at the apartment the following day at 2PM. The following day at 1:45 I got a call from the manager, saying the crew would be late, no, he couldn't guarantee the time, and by the way had I paid a deposit? I was furious, and less than pleasant. Eventually a truck arrived, at about 3:00, and the crew began to load my belongings. They finished unloaded at my new house at 10:30 PM, working by the lights of my car because the lights inside the truck were out! The crew was amazing - this was their second move of the day, and they never stopped. I reviewed them by name on the Two Men website. I have moved 12 times now, and this was easily the worst moving experience I've ever had. Again: if you don't make the initial mistake that I made, you will probably be okay - but if you don't get an on-site estimate, go with someone else.

I don't think I would use them again. They were reasonable. I had a time limit in order to stay within the budgeted amount that I wanted to spend on moving. They needed to get everything moved within a certain number of hours because they charge by the hour. Instead of risking going over the time limit and charging me a little more, what they did was, they only agreed to move certain things. They refused to move other small boxes, and I had good zillions of small boxes. They moved all the big stuff, and they did it really fast. They then just rather threw in some things. I wasn't really pleased with the way they went about it. It was somewhat inflexible. I would have preferred them moving more stuff than arguing with me less about what they would and would not move charging me extra. It wasn't my kind of business dealing, so next time I will use somebody else. I am not saying they are bad; they are probably good on certain circumstances for people having an unlimited budget.

This was the best moving experience I've ever had. Crew members were hard-working, careful, thorough, considerate, and moved fast. I have many very large, heavy pieces of furniture and the movers knew what they were doing, worked fast and didn't make one mistake. I can't think of anything that could have been done better. Two weeks later my sisters had the same experience. They were very enthusiastic about the job "Two Men" did for them. Not one complaint, just praise for cheerful, considerate workers who know how to work hard and fast.

I made a call to Two Men and a Track after realizing exactly how heavy some of our furniture is. On the phone the rep was very nice and found us a team to come just an hour later and provided a very detailed quote for the price. The men did run a bit late and required a call to find out where they were, but once they were at my apartment they were able to clear out the old one and drop all the furniture off in just two hours. Next time I have a local move I will defiantly use these guys again!

The two boys who showed up were obviously novices in the moving business and really didn't know what they were doing. They did not show up on time. They didn't know the best method to load the truck. They didn't put down any floor protectors and slid stuff across my hardwood floors, scratching them. Their truck's brakes were bad, which created another really awful problem. But, even more important to me, they broke a lot of things that should never have been broken - even things like bookshelves - and damaged others. In addition, they tried to steal several things by sneaking them into their truck cab, rather than putting them with the things to be moved. These included some artwork and cds. I was able to stop them from driving off with these things in their cab by holding onto the passenger door and pulling my things out of the cab. The boys said they had "just forgotten" to give them to me. Regarding the damage and breakage, the manager of Two Men and a Truck did not try to make anything right and even refused to reduce their fee. I would NEVER, EVER use this moving company again.

They did a great job! We were both sick the week before the move and therefore did not get our packing completed. They said that it was no problem and sent extra people out to help. We were able to move the day that was planned. The first 2 people that came were very professional. They did an excellent job packing. The second crew that came helped us complete the job, but were not as efficient or careful.

Robert and Daniel did a terrific job! They worked quickly and efficiently and were very careful with our furniture and belongings. They didn't stop to take a break. They were both very pleasant to work with. We would definitely recommend these two men and the company they represent. We would never think of moving without the assistance of Two Men and a Truck in the future! They were great!

HORRIBLE! The Movers did not show up on time. They were supposed to be to our house by 3pm. They did not show up at 3 so we called them. They said they were running late and would be there "soon". Our interpretation of "soon" was within a 1/2 hour. After an hour of waiting we called again. They said they'd be there by 5, they showed up at 5:30. Shortly into packing the truck, one of the workers started complaining that he didn't realize we lived on the third floor and that we had a two-bedroom apartment. He thought we only had a few things to move but we had a whole apartment. There were two men (obviously) but one of them had asthma and the other complained the whole time. After talking to them a little we realized this was their 3RD MOVE THAT DAY! By the time they got to us they were exhausted and were moving at 1/2 the speed they should have been. We were being charged by the hour. When they started unloading the truck they refused to put the boxes in the locations we said.

The guys wrapped all the breakables up really well and were careful when moving the furniture. They were on time, professional and well trained. They didn t break one thing and I was very pleased with the job they did. They were great and I would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I hired them and they were great. They didn t break anything or scratch any furniture. They were polite and worked hard. The 3 men who came out were very professional and very responsible. I would recommend them to my friends.

Two Men & A Truck were a reliable company to deal with. Their employees showed up promptly and were great to work with. They worked very hard to get everything moved. Their prices were reasonable as well.

We could not have been more pleased with Two Men & A Truck. I know a good moving company when I see one. Two gentlemen helped us move all of our belongings did very good work and at a good price. They were probably with us for a good portion of our moving day.

What a convenience this company was for us. They were responsive, respectful and courteous. We were satisfied with the move and they were very careful with everything. There was a crew of two hardworking individuals that did the work.

We were very impressed with Two Men And A Truck. For them to help us pack and to move our items for us about fifteen miles from one location to the next, we were looking at a bill that was literally under five hundred dollars. They stayed and helped us set things up and they were just really wonderful to work with. We have utilized many moving companies over the years, due to my husband's career, and so we have seen all kinds of things. This company did impress us.

I was so pleased with their work because they had to take my furniture to 3 different locations and they didn t have any errors. They took fantastic care of all of my personal belongings and they made me feel very secure.

They didn t take any breaks even though they charged by the hour. The two men were quick at loading the truck and they were polite. It took about 8 hours to complete the move and nothing was damaged so they did a great job.

I was very pleased with the young gentlemen from Two Men and A Truck. They spoke loud enough so that I can hear them since I do have a bit of a hearing problem. They were also very low in cost because we had called around to other companies to inquire about what they charged for moving services. Two Men and A Truck was the lowest estimate we received and I was pleased with the work that they did. They were very careful with my belongings and very polite to me. When you are older like I am, you appreciate it when younger people take the time to listen to your instructions and when they are respectful towards you.

This is the only way to go. These movers are really good and their prices can t be beat. They did an excellent job, showed up on time, and got right to work without wasting a minute. They didn t scratch, break, or damage a thing. They were very professional, caring, and I would highly recommend them.

They were average like any other moving company. They did the job well but it wasn t anything special. The moving time was average and I guess I would use them again. I can t remember how much the price was for their services.

They did a horrible job. They were so bad and I wouldn t use them to move my dog. They refused to move half of our stuff because they were antiques. When they came to give the quote the antiques were there. It wasn t like I bought the antiques to have them moved. We ended up having to call another company to move the items they wouldn't move.

Two Men and A Truck did an okay job. It took them about four hours to complete my move and in reality, it probably should have only taken two hours. They were dragging their feet a little, I thought. I also own a big screen TV and they seemed to have great difficulty figuring out how to move it. To me, it seemed like they were stalling a bit. Their pricing is fairly decent however I probably would not use them again.

We have used this company before and they were very careful and respectful of our property then so we decided to use them again. We were very pleased on how they handled our personal things. They treated them as if it was their own things.
