Two Men And A Snake

Description of Work: I needed my main sewer drain augured, and decided to give these guys a call. Glad I did. Prompt, courteous, got the job done ahead of schedule, and very reasonably priced. I'll call them again.

Description of Work: They came out to snake the main drain from our house in the middle of the night. We were grateful for their availability, as we could not flush or do anything without sewage backing up through our floor drain. The guy was nice and seemed to take care of it for the moment. He talked us into using a few bottles of root dissolver to ensure the problem would really be fixed. In the next day or two, it clogged again. The next guy who came (under warranty) tried to sell us on an expensive service to better unclog the drain that he could do later that week. He also was pretty rude, accusing us of flushing cleaning wipes (that are advertised as flushable) and said that should void the warranty but he'd overlook it just this once to help us out. I told him that first guy also found a wipe, but that we certainly hadn't used those in the day or two since the first clog! He went ahead and snaked us out so we could get through the night, but pressured us to commit to the expensive . When it clogged again the next day, I called another plumber who only charged $150 and laughed at the previous plumbers' sloppy work. He said they did a decent job of snaking out the inside of the pipe, but just didn't spend the little more time needed to take it the rest of the way out to the street. He also had a much larger snaking machine, and said that the smaller snake used by 2 Men and a Snake might have been part of the problem. It's now been 5-6 months and we've had no further problems with clogs. I thought about trying to get my money back from 2 Men and a Snake, but ended up not bothering.

Description of Work: The movers were professional and were very careful with my possessions. I was very satisfied and would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: They got it done on time, cleaned up afterward. I had some questions about the site, and they handled it. Therefore I will use them again.
