TruGreen Lawn Care - 5645

The TruGreen Co LLC - Lawn Fertilization and Treatment TruGreen, wasn't too good in the beginning, they showed up in March then not again until July and they was suppose to come once a month. When they came in July they only did half the yard because, they didn't bring enough stuff with them and I had to continually call to get them here. So, overall I am not happy with their service.

I was not happy with their service. I finished up my contract with them and then let them go.

I spend about $70 a month on that service. I decided to use them because of the commercials.

Overall, Scotts is a great company. This year I started getting phone notices 24 hours before each visit, which is nice to know. After each visit I get a detailed statement with specific products used and services performed. The statement also includes notes for MY lawn as well as general advice. I haven't called this year, but when I do call for extra weed control, all products and services are free. Their products are excellent and their service is good. Last year when I called about seeding my back yard, the woman who answered the phone was very knowledgeable and didn't tell me somebody would call me back with an answer, as most companies (other than lawn service) do. I get occasional newsletters loaded with great advice that I have put to use. After the "great depression" of 2008, I wondered in 2009 if I would be able to afford another year of service, being unemployed for five months. When I called to inquire of the 2009 season cost, I was told there was no change in price for the season. This was a refreshing response in uncertain times. Any problems I have had I attribute to two things: 1) Zoysia grass gets diseased easily; 2) I don't have a sprinkler system, and I don't water regularly. When my grass is healthy and the season has brought plenty of rain, the lawn is beautiful.

They tore off the walls and ceiling of the kitchen. They widened the doorway. They installed lights, counters, cabinets and appliances. They put in a new floor. We furnished the cabinets and a lot of the appliances. They charged for the labour and other material. We received 3 other bids for the job. The price was the best among all the bids. They did a good job. They were very responsive.

If you are not home, they try to spend as little time possible on your lawn. They were in and out so quickly that they couldn't have done what they were supposed to do, especially because we have quite a large yard.

I liked the fact that they offered a discount if you paid for all of the treatments ahead of time. I didn't like that at least one of the workers that applied the weed killer got some on my cat nip.

Horrible experience, from start to finish. It was September and I ONLY wanted winterizer put on in November. They show up a week later while I'm at work and put an unwanted treatment on my lawn. Never even called me to let me know, I came home to little signs in my yard saying they treated it. I was extremely mad because I had just fertilized myself a few days prior. I called and told them I wasn't paying for the bogus treatment and to just cancel the winterizer as well. They said OK but still kept sending bills that got increasingly nasty. By the fifth month I demanded to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor then accused me of making the whole scenario up to get a free treatment - I about went through the roof! I would never recommend this company to anyone and after reading some of the other reviews, it seems like my experience was pretty typical. STAY AWAY!

Before they even started the job my lawn looked good. After I hired them my lawn went down hill and looked like crap. I have two dogs and they promised they would call the day before they came so I could make sure the dog poop was cleaned up. NEVER called and then would get mad because they stepped in it as well as they would fertilize and I wouldn't know and let my dogs outside and my oldest Malamute is allergic to that stuff and got really sick. Sometime they say they came but being a stay at home mom I know they didn't. I would call and complain and they would send the gentlemen back out. He would do a half *expletive* job. They would also do jobs I didn't ask for and then charge me for them. At that point they became overly expensive and I fired them. They still call and beg me back but I just ignore the phone calls.

We have not had them for too long, but everything has been good so far. There has not been any problems and I am pleased with the service. They are friendly and answer all of your questions. The price is reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone.

The service is excellent. Our yard looks fantastic and we are very pleased with the service. They always answer our questions and are polite and courteous when they come out. I am very impressed.

I hated this company. They never showed up on the day that they were supposed to. I always had to call and make them come out. My yard was not looking better at all. I thought the price was just average. I did call around and switch my service to someone else.

They called us and asked us if we wanted treatment for a couple of trees in our yard. We told them no. They continued to call and we continued to tell them no. Then one day there was an invoice on our front door, and they had treated the trees while we were gone and charged us for it. I immediately stopped my service because I felt that was dishonest. I told them that if that is the way that they treat their customers then we do not need their service. I refused to pay the bill as well. I would not recommend them.

So-so. We had a lot of weeds this summer and fall. The company always sent a crew out right away to treat the problem, but I am disappointed that the weeds were there in the first place.

We have TruGreen come to our house on a regular basis to care for our yard. The serviceman arrives when he is supposed to and always does a great job. The yard is immaculate and the price is reasonable.

They made me very happy and made the outside of our home look 110% different. They came at a nice time during the day that fit my schedule really good. The cost was pretty cheap. I would recommend this company to others.

We have been satisfied with their services for the past few years. They have been dependable, reliable and we haven't had any problems with their services. They did their treatments throughout the year and took their job seriously.

We have been using them the last several years with great success. There have been no complaints. My whole property is weed free and quite green. I think they do an excellent job on my lawn. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for this type of service.

Since I have been using them, I no longer have a weed problem. They come and go and get the job done. I don't even know they are here, half of the time. I am happy with the spray they put on, as it does not leave residue or fumes on my lawn.

I usually called them once in the spring and once in the fall to fertilize my lawn. They have always produced a healthy and rich lawn for us in the summer. They told us to keep the pets off the ground for thirty minutes after the application.

I couldn t think of a better service. I like that you also get a discount, if you pre-pay them. They did a beautiful job. They have also pruned the trees, bushes, sprayed and/or even inject the trees if there happen to be a problem. It is so nice to have one company that takes care of all my lawn needs.

At first, I enjoyed ChemLawn. Then I started using them on a few of my other places and I kind of got the feeling now that they are just an um, yea, ok, whatever company. Honestly, I feel that ChemLawn is on there last 'uh oh' with me. There were times they did not come out and times where they even lost some of the shrubs that I had growing. I am not sure of an exact price because they have done some work on my other homes as well. I usually have a few houses on one bill. I would only use their services in a pinch situation.

We have some of the nicest looking grass since we have been using TruGreen ChemLawn. We no longer have a yard full of weeds, just thick green grass. The man who takes care of our lawn is very friendly and does his best to make sure our lawn looks the best it can.

I thought they were terrible and next year we will be switching to Scott's Lawn Care. Our lawn looked horrible and I was very unsatisfied with their customer service. They were often rude and did only half of their job.

I am happy now. The first few treatments it seems like nothing was different. Now after several treatments, I do not see any weeds or crab grass growing in my yard. Our yard is quite small, so I really try to keep it well groomed and nice looking because there just is not a lot of green around my house.
