 + 0 moreThe clogged drain was fixed in almost no time. On a subsequent visit, we had a new trap after about an hour. Professional, friendly, and we've had no problems with the work. If I had any complaints, it's that we couldn't pay right then, because they bill customers. How rare is that now?!
Description of Work: We had a clogged drain. When the gentleman came out, he said it'd take maybe an hour to fix our other issue - the contractor who remodeled our kitchen never installed a p-trap.

 + -1 moreIt went ok...at first. They sent an estimator out, who sent me a bid, but I had some last-minute changes I needed to make. Never heard back from them, again. While estimator onsite, he didn't like the tub/faucet combo we had purchased, so wondered if that had something to do with it.

Due to issues that had nothing to do with Tritz, we required that items they had installed be removed. They came out the next day and took care of our short notice requirement. Always professional, easy to contact and hard working. I highly recommend them for any and all of your plumbing needs.

 + 0 moreThey were only able to fix one item - kitchen sink. That was done well. They couldn't get through drain on bathroom sink nor do the outside work, told me they would need to have contractor check it out. I never heard from anyone again at Tritz, just got a bill much later. This is the first time Tritz didn't meet my expectations, usually great. Don't know what happened with this visit so I called someone else and they got it done.
Description of Work: Had 3 things for them to fix: slow drains in kitchen and bathroom and outside faucet

I have used Tritz over the last 10 years for all my plumbing problems and have recommended them to family and friends. I feel confident they will do a professional job and stand behind their work. They kept me informed of each of the processes during the entire job and informed me of what still needed to be done after each step. Both during and after the job was completed, the owner came back to inspect the work and to insure that the job was done correctly. I would not hesitate to use Tritz Plumbing in the future.
Description of Work: We have an old house (100+ years). and had a leak in the upstairs bath drain pipe that came through the kitchen ceiling. I contacted Tritz Plumbing to give me an estimate on repairs. The floor in the upstairs bath was concrete, so they had to open up the kitchen ceiling, remove the stool and basin, break up the concrete floor, cut out a section of the leaky pipe, manufacture a new section of pipe (old one was not standardized), install the pipe and fittings, patch the concrete and (after I put down a new vinyl floor) reset the stool and basin. The original estimate was for between $2,000 and $2,500. The final bill was for $1,732.

Tritz charged less for the repair work than a larger company simply charged me for an estimate. I would definitely recommend them.

 + 0 moreI bought all the fixtures and we had problems with the tub, so it required reordering twice (my fault). We live in a very old house, so they ran into some issues (as we've come to expect) but they took it all in stride and got it all figured out. When we got a tub that fit the space properly, the plumber spent some frustrating hours trying to get things hooked up. I was impressed with his perserverence and patience. In the end, it all got done and I'm thrilled with how it turned out! And I appreciate that they made time for our additionl requests - installing a faucet in my kitchen and repairing a broken spigot outside.
Description of Work: We remodeled our bathroom, so they installed a new whirlpool tub, a new sink, faucets for both, new toilet. Additionally, we had them install a new kitchen faucet and fix an outside spigot.

Description of Work: Installed two sets of faucets. Replaced two 15 + year old faucets. Imjpossible for me to remove, had to be drilled out. Tritz did an excellent job in cramped space and cleaned up after. Nice folks. I am sure the bill will be fair. I have used them in the past and I will use them again when the needs arise.

 + -1 morePerfect. Called in am and they were out at 1:30. Repair took 30 minutes and was done. What I loved about Tritz... 1) Repair was done right the first time 2) They didn't try to sell me anything 3) They bill for the service. Will definitely use them again. Glad to see good old fashion service and repair.
Description of Work: Replacement of plumbing under kitchen sink. I did the install 2 years ago, but knocked something loose while looking for supplies under the sink. I just didn't want to mess with it this time. Tritz did it quick and right.

I did not have them keep the outside hose bibs on unsoftened water, which was my mistake since I didn't know better at the time. They did ask me about it at the initial estimate and confirmed it before installation. Once the system was installed, they talked me through the settings and how to maintain the system. Everything was done very well and at significantly less cost than the other contractors who gave estimates.
