We moved from a home we had lived in for forty years. The prospect of going through everything seemed like an overwhelming job. Tender Transitions came to our home and gave us an estimate of the cost. They will do everything from deciding what to keep, toss, donate, packing, coordinating your move, unpacking at new home and cleaning. I liked that they told us what they would do and then let us choose how much help we wanted. I never felt pressured to take more services than I wanted. I really appreciated the fact that I was in control of how much help I wanted. I had them come initiallly to help me get started. Then I worked alone or with my daughters at my own pace. I had them come several more times when I needed extra help. They came at my convenience and for short periods. They were a tremendous help with the basement. The helper I worked with was fast, thorough, and well organized. She gave me advice on organizing the project and easy ways to get the job done. My daughters and I did a lot of the work ourselves. She helped us over the rough spots and with good advice. Everyone at Tender Transitions was very easy to deal with and tremendously helpful. I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a package. They just explained what they offered and I could pick and choose the services that fit my need. They came several times over period of four to five months and worked very well with me. I would not be concerned about referring my friends to them. They do a great job and there is no pressure. Just help when you need it. It was the best investment I made for our move.
