Stanley Steemer of Omaha

I am very confused about how this company has so many excellent ratings. They have far more ratings than any other company and all very positive. It almost makes me think that someone from the company is posting them. I called them because of their Angie's List status and was very unimpressed. The first time they came to clean a total for 6 rooms, hallway and stairs, they were at my house for, at most, an hour. When the carpet dried it looked as if nothing had been done. Obvious stains will still present. I called the company and they offered to come back "as a courtesy". I am sorry, but it is not a courtesy if you do a bad job in the first place and I have to spend an hour moving my furniture again. The second time, they spent longer but still, I feel I could do a better job with the Hoover steam cleaner that I have. I am going to call another company to take care of this now and would not use them again. They are a big company and probably make money by rushing and hoping people will be happy enough and not call back and complain.

They did such a good job that the carpets looked almost new! We were very pleased with the job that they did. I think we had the furniture moved out by the time we had the carpets done, so there was no furniture moving to be done. We would absolutely hire them again to clean our carpets. Their employees were very nice.

They did a great job and paid close attention to detail. They were in and out and it was no bother. I was very comfortable having them inside my home.

They arrived on time. They were polite, careful and professional. Several pieces of furniture had to be moved to complete the work. There were some small stains that couldn't be removed, even after going over them several times. The worker apologized and pointed out the stains that hadn't come out. They cleaned up after themselves, and were in and out in less than 45 minutes. I paid exactly what I had been quoted on the phone when I made the appointment the day before.

Cleaned the same day I called in for an appointment. Very prompt, very courteous and did a good job. I would recommend them.

I'm amazed. I booked them online, and they were there in 2 hours. The carpets were so bad we didn't think they'd ever come clean, but they got them almost perfect. I wasn't home when they did the work, my husband was. They didn't move the two dressers, one of which had the drawers removed in anticipation of being moved, which I did expect to be moved, but they did move the smaller furniture. Overall, I'm very pleased. I plan to call them out again to do a third room.

A team of two young men appeared promptly as promised and proceeded to quietly and efficiently clean the carpets. First they confirmed exactly what I wanted done and how I expected them to do it, then began on the ground floor and worked their way up. When they were finished, they told me exactly what problems they had found and where they were (like burn spots in front of the fireplace). The workers were clean, well-mannered and efficient and they did a first-rate job.

They did a nice job overall. There were a few stains left that I thought would come up. The only complaint I have is them trying to add more things to do such as scotch guarding, sanitizing and extra stain removal formula. They also said that they wouldn't charge for the ottoman to be cleaned, but after reading the bill I was charged.

Two very nice young men arrived on time and explained what they were going to do. Took approximately 1 1/2 hours. Carpets looked very good when they finished. Only problem: they put some of my furniture up on yellow styrofoam blocks. A couple of days later, when I went to remove the blocks from under my cocktail table (very heavy brass and glass), the bottom of the yellow blocks on two sides had bonded to my carpet. Tried soaking with water to soften and remove. Didn't work. Had to snip the top of the carpet fibers to remove the yellow residue. When I called Stanley Steemer to let them know about the problem, I was told that it happened sometimes and I could have called them to come out again to remove the residue. I told Customer Service representative I would have appreciated knowing in advance about the potential problem and solution. Postscript: Stained area around my easy chair reappeared a couple weeks later.

Can't say enough good things. The truck was at our house within an hour and cleaned up a bad spill. When the carpet dried, there was a little bit of spill remaining and they came right back out to finish. Great job.

Stanley Steemer did an ok job. They left a stain in the couch. Also, their workers smoked in our home, which is a very big no no. When we returned home, everything smelled like smoke. Their prices are fair and competitive. I would use them again, but I would request non smokers.

Stanley Steemer did a wonderful job on my two chairs. They removed all the stains and got them very clean. They were prompt and professional. They did really good work. I had no cleanup when they left.

I was very pleased with their services and they came the day after I called them so I would say they were very prompt. I was totally satisfied with the work and I would recommend their services to anyone because they did marvelous work.

We are very happy with how our carpets look. Stanley Steemer got almost all of the stains out of the carpets. They got the high traffic areas of the carpets to look much better too. We are very happy using Stanley Steemer to clean our carpets.

Stanley Steemer does this job for me every once in a while. I have never had a complaint. They have always respected my home and never broken anything while moving furniture around. I am pleased with them and they will probably honestly be the only ones I ever use for this service.

This place was great and everything they did was great. I did not have many stains on the carpets, but, the little that I did get on there was almost immediately removed. The carpet did dry quickly and it did smell really good when it was completed. I even ran my own scrubber over one of the carpets after they were done just to see how clean it was and the water was not even dirty. It was amazing.

Two men showed up to clean my carpet and I must say that I was more than impressed at the remarkable job they did in adding life to our carpets. They didn't have to move any furniture, but they spent four hours on the carpets. We are very pleased with their work.

Stanley Steemer did a very good job. They moved some furniture though my husband moved most of it. The carpets took more than a day to dry. They removed all stains except for one which was too hard.

They were just here today and I was happy with the way everything turned out. They did a good job and I felt like they were thorough on everything. They cleaned the upholstery on some chairs while they were here too and I thought their price were very fair for the amount of work they did here.

I have been using them for awhile to do my carpet cleaning and really like the job that they do. They always pay special attention to the high traffic areas and stained places to make sure they come clean and stay clean. They are always on time and professional. I do think they could lower the prices a bit.

We didn't have Stanley Steemer move any furniture, and they did a very good job. They managed to pull up all the stains and were quite professional. This is the first time we've used them, but we'll probably use them again.

Our carpets look really nice since Stanley Steemer cleaned them. They got all of the stains out, even ones that have been there for quite a while. They did not move the furniture, but put it up on blocks.

They were excellent and did a wonderful job cleaning my carpets. They followed my instructions well and I had them just go around the furniture instead of moving it. They showed up on time and the floor dried quickly. I had no complaints about them at all.

If I was going to use a carpet cleaning company in the future I would use them because there weren't any hassles involved.

I was satisfied with Stanley Steamer when they cleaned my carpets. I thought their prices were pretty good and they did a good job. I moved most of what I could by myself and they set the big furniture up on little blocks so they could get under everything good and let it dry nicely.
