Signature Painting

Description of Work: Signature Painting painted the entire exterior of our home and re-stained the deck.

Description of Work: I contacted Signature Painting for an estimate, approximately April 25, to paint our living room, dining room, kitchen and stairwell, 3 bedrooms, hallway and 2 bathrooms. In other words the entire upper level. I also asked for painting estimates from two Painting contractors with high Angie's list ratings and the estimates ranged from $2,185 to $4,700!! Signature was $2,185 so we decided to give them a try not only for the price but also due to positive feedback from our realtor whose relative had hired them. At the time of the estimates we thought our closing date on the house purchase was going to be May 7 and they were willing to start on May 8th. Due to issues with scheduling the appraiser, follow up repairs that were required by the lender and either the buyer or seller being out of town, the closing date was delayed until May 26th but in several increments of 3 or 4 days at a time. Amazingly, Signature was able to accommodate our changing schedule and arrived May 27 with a crew of 3-4 people and finished the job by noon on May 29! The work was done in half the time the $4,700 A rated Angie's List contractor had estimated with 2-3 coats of Sherwin Williams paint that we selected. They removed curtain rods, towel racks, phone outlets and toilet paper holders and patched the walls perfectly before painting. The crew was very professional and friendly and the on-site supervisors, Damian the first day and Chris the second and third day, were very capable and professional. They honored the estimated price and the only add-on was $200 to patch and paint a ceiling we did not ask to be painted in the original estimate.

Description of Work: They power-washed the house the day before they painted. Covered all windows with plastic and tape, Sanded and sealed all windows frames before painting. Painted 2-story house in one color and painted window trim another. Took 2.5 days and house looks beautiful.
