Completely satisfied with Quality Fence’s workmanship and materials used. Customer service above price sold me on using Quality Fence. After receiving 3 separate and comparable bids, Jake at Quality Fence was the only one who took his time discussing with me the entire scope of the project from start through finish right in my backyard. He Included details of material and quality the have to select from, timeline and potential issues with boundaries and sprinkler lines, and any unanticipated costs if issues were to occur. He recommended having a survey prior to the job starting and found our property line was irregular and our old fence was actually 6” into the neighbors property. He even came out to double check what the survey returned!
Description of Work: Complete fence replacement on 2/3rds of the property.

This has to be the worst ran company in the world. I should have realized that after the bid took so long to receive and having to follow-up even for this that this company was bad news with their sales Rep Robert. Numerous upon numerous delays, which would be somewhat understandable during COVID times if their customer service was at all attentive. Numerous calls made out to Cathy and Kirsten who are apparently managers who must work 1 hour every other week as calls were often not received nor returned. No updates provided though when able to speak to someone they stated from their mythical list that we went from 5th in line to then a few weeks later 7th. Not sure how this could ever happen. We even spoke with other fencing companies to inquire as to their delays and they pretty much all laughed after we told them we were using About Quality Fence. Would never recommend and they are now the reason why I'll do research on Companies prior to using. Can't wait for their response to this one to somehow state this is all a lie or misunderstanding.

I believe this review is retaliation to our taking this customer to court over a non-paid debt. We provided the services the customer contracted for. He just did not like the style of fence after it was installed. It is funny that the fence was completed over two years ago and he is now completing a review????? I am sorry that Mr. [Member Name Removed] resorted to Social Media to vent his frustration over being sued for non-payment.

My parents received a quote in May and signed paperwork and was told the fence could be put in within "five to six weeks". They chose this company because they offered the fence sooner than other companies in the area. The company finally came to install posts and took down our original fence towards the end of August, but now the posts are still there with no fence. We have a dog, so being without a fence this long is pretty inconvenient. They keep making excuses about why they can't come and make promises they don't keep. It's pretty frustrating.

I thought the service was very well, the communication was very well, the people that came out were very good, They were very friendly and they came when they said they would come they accidentaly ruined our sprinkler heads but after 2 days they came and replaced it. They lined up our lines underneath the ground.

I am now in the process of having to move the vinyl fence which quality fence installed several years ago. Quality Fence had a valid survey (which they provided) at the time of installation. Recently, new neighbors had a survey done and our fence is 1&1/2 feet on his land. When brought to Quality attention, they responded: "the Customer assumes full responsibility for the location of the property line upon which the fence is installed.". So you better be a Registered Surveyor to make sure this company knows what they are doing. Otherwise RUN far away from this business.

This was handled very poorly by the fencing company. Besides (what appears to be typical for this contractor) fence install delays, the fence boundary was mis-marked, resulting in added expense to move a sprinkler head (which the contractor never reimbursed us for, even though it was their mistake). Unfortunately, the builder's grader (who was responsible for reimbursing the fencing contractor) never paid the fencing company, so they threatened to put a lien on our property. In doing so, they failed to satisfy the notice of right to assert a lien requirements under Nebraska Law. Their letter was dated and post marked 5 days after they demanded us to respond. As a consequence, I had to hire an attorney. Both me and our attorney attempted to contact the Office Manager on several occasions, with no response to our inquiries. After receiving a second notice from the fencing company a few months later, we were able to coax the builder into delivering payment on behalf of the builder's (delinquent) subcontractor. Our property was twice threatened by them and at no time did they attempt to contact us directly to work try and work something out; alternatively, they resorted to making threats which cost us as much in attorney's fees as the repair work itself. No apologies were ever made and the fencing company indicated they were not interested in doing business with us again, except to honor the warranty on the fence repair. Additionally, the fencing company never actually finished the repair job; they left the footing for one of the fence posts they removed. They refused to remove the footing, claiming it was not covered under the original repair order (which we requested to see a copy of, but was never provided). I checked on them with the Better Business Bureau and there seems to be a number of complaints lodged with a "B" rating. I would not recommend that anyone use this particular fencing company given the poor treatment we received as the home owner. We initially purchased the fence from them at a cost of nearly $5K and they didn't appear to factor this into their consideration.
Description of Work: The provider was to complete a fence repair associated with an issue caused by the builder. A section of fence had to be torn down and reconstructed to mitigate for a storm drain the builder's subcontractor had buried. Reimbursement for the expense of the fence repair was to be handled by the builder's subcontractor which this fencing contractor was aware of from the start of the mitigation effort.

This was a terrible terrible terrible experience... Scenario: Needed for a new home being built. Timelines were important as components of the fence needed to go in at certain times. Met with salesperson in June 2013. Required 60% down to begin the process. Was told that it was necessary to get the order in early so all the components of the fence could be ordered well in advance. The fence wasn't to be installed until August, so we were told everything would be ordered and waiting for the install. End of July, we double checked with salesperson to see if everything had come in and ready to go. We were told Yes, everything has been ordered, is in and is now ready for install, and to let them know the exact date when it we know the date Last week of July, we get the dates for installation. It was WELL KNOWN through this entire process that the posts needed to be installed before sod went down for the new construction. If the posts are not put in before sod, you must wait in upwards of a month or better before the sod is strong enough to handle fencer installers walking on it and moving equipment on and off, etc. I called the office directly to schedule the install. The person working there, Kathy, who apparently is also the manager (more on that later) said "Ok, we will get it ordered." I said, wait, the salesperson said this was ordered and was in stock over a month ago. She said, no, we never order anything until the week before installation so it doesn't sit on our lot and get damaged. Then says, we just ordered it Tuesday. I said, this is Tuesday. (30 July). She says, yes we ordered it this morning. It should be in this Friday. I said, OK, but that isn't what we were told. She said, well that is how we always do it, and he is wrong. So, the first set of lies was the salesman. One telling us a completely wrong process, and then two, telling us that everything was already in and ready to install. I call the salesman to find out what is going on. I tell him the manager said they never order anything early and only the week before installation. He replied "THAT IS B*******, SHE IS FULL OF S***". Awesome... now I'm stuck in the middle of their terrible communication and trail of lies. I call on Friday, the day the truck comes in, which is 2 Aug (the install is supposed to happen on the following Monday). The manager says, yes, everything came on the truck and is ready to go on Monday. I say, great. Monday.. I get a call that the stuff didn't come in on the truck after all and she was wrong. Great, now management is lying too. Wonderful. Sod was installed on the day following the day the fence was supposed to go in, as scheduled.. now we have to wait a very long time before we can even get the posts in. New post install date, 16 Sep. Nothing. I call on 18 Sept to find out what is going on. Oh, they forgot to put me on the schedule. At this point we are ready for a refund to go to another company. They say only refund anything left after subtracting parts and labor. This is another conversation with the manager, Kathy. We ask, what parts and labor? we have no fence and you haven't even done anything. Doesn't matter to them. We ask to speak to the boss. She says she is the boss. We ask you own the company? She says No. Well who does? She says the owner. Well, let us speak to the owner. She says, he doesn't speak to customers, I run everything, you will talk only to me. The conversation only got worse after that. Needless to say the company is horribly mis-managed. The owner is obviously making terrible policies, the salseman is allowed to lie throughout to get your business, and the manager has absolutely no idea what she is doing and shouldn't be managing so much as an ice cream cart. The only person that wasn't a pain was the secretary, and she was new. I feel sorry for her that she works there. Starting to feel the frustration yet? Imagine what we went through. Oh btw.. i didn't mention yet, that throughout this, after the salesman got caught in his lie, he refused to return any phone calls after that. Many voicemail messages were left and he couldn't man up and deal with confronting peole he blatantly lied too. So.. we finally get posts.. now to wait until the cement is set. This is the only wait throughout this entire process that is valid.. sort of.. we are then told that the gates hadn't been ordered yet, even though the rest of the fence was. sigh.. now more waiting because of the gates.. and then they get stuck in customs since they are coming from China apparently (first we are told this was a Chinese product and not USA made) The fence finally is finished. yard trampled.. Oh, they cut the sprinkler line back when they put the posts in, so there's that. YAY. The fence looks good. I'll give them that. In all honesty, the install crew was pretty good. Ya, they cut a line, but that could have happened to anyone, and the grass trampling? Well, it's grass and how else were they going to do it? I don't really fault them for that either. I think they were trying to be careful, so that was appreciated. Still don't have the caps to the main posts yet. Until I get them, they aren't getting paid. Oh.. even though we were lied too by more than one person, they were caught in it, etc.. No apologies for the lies, and no discounts for screwing us over and over and over again.. Check BBB.. F rating on there.. Gee, I wonder why? STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They honestly are the worst I have every dealt with for anything. You really are better off getting a kindergarten class together, giving them sticks and tell them to make a fence. You'll at least be lied to far less. Owner = terrible, manager=terrible and lied, salesman=friendly but lied, installers=good, secretary=good. UPDATE.. They cut the sprinkler line like I said above and because I had the sprinkler company that put the system in fix it, they now refuse to pay for the fix. They tell me now that they should have fixed it, because they say they are trained to do it. Ok, well, why would I ever think that the fence company should be, or even could, fix a sprinkler line? Their answer was that they cut so many that they had to learn how to do it. After everything we have been through, not only did they not discount the entire job at all, even though they got caught in lie after lie, but now they won't even pay for the damage they did.. Underhanded sneaky crap. This company truly gets more evil everytime I talk to them. Still no caps a week and a half after install. And they had no problem billing us. Here is another fun fact. The balance is due 3 days after receiving the bill. After which, it begins accruing interest. There isn't even enough time to get it to them that fast before it would start accuring interest. On top of the fact the dang fence isn't even done yet. Good grief. Could they be any worse? I don't think so.

Awful experience. My wife and I needed a fence a month ago. They told us two top three weeks out almost 10 weeks ago. They gave us no information about completion, never kept us in the loop and gave horrible excuses why the fence could not be completed in dates promised.

A 5 week turnaround after signing the contract become 7, then 8, then 9 weeks. Always a new excuse from these folks...really busy, fence is on back order, the weather. It is like they have a list of excuses to string you along. Would not recommend this company to anyone! Quality only in name.

As described in services performed they did not bid the job as requested and therefore did not get the job.
Description of Work: Had them come out for a bid along with 2 other companies. The did not follow instructions on requested bid. We asked them bid a wood privacy fence around the entire backyard. Our neighbor has a chain link on one side. They bid the three sides and assumed we wanted to look at the chain link fence on one side. Wouldn't recommend them as they clearly cannot follow instructions. Ended up going with the only company who could follow instructions of the three.

I had two bids. Quality was higher, but they were detailed in their list of parts and services. The other company did not have a detailed list of services and parts. The other company kept adding to the estimate as each detailed was questioned. I wanted to know everything up front, no change orders along the way unless I initiated them. The bids were submitted and signed in August with a 50% deposit-which I object to. The job was to start in October, but no definite date given. The job didn't start until November and didn't finish until Decmber 4th. We did have delays because I did make a significant change order and then some of the posts were run over by a third party. The fence installers had to redo the posts because they didn't place them correctly on the change order. There was also a language barrier with the fence installers. Once we got the change order and the damaged area completed, all went well. We had a programming problem on the gate, which they handled the same day.
Description of Work: Removed two 12' swinging gates and one 10' swinging gate. Replaced with one 16' electronic roller gate, one 3' walk through swinging gate and 14' of fencing.

.What a horrible experience! We hired Quality Fence to put in a black chain link fence. Little did we know, they contract out their work. We were told by the salesman that the company was 3-4 weeks out to start and then it would take 1 week for completion. Finally after 7 weeks and about 7 phone calls, some other company showed up to do the fence. And it was a disaster. Posts were dug and put on the wrong spots, they broke the neighbors sprinkler, the gates they ordered did not fit, and the fence wasn't even straight. So for 2000 dollars, we got gigantic post holes, a gate that doesn't fit, and another gate that only opens half the time. I would never use or recommend this company again!

We shopped around for a fence company, to include S&W and Diamond… and after looking at reviews (or the lack of) we decided that we didn’t have much to go off besides what we could see from homes in our neighborhood, etc. I did read the reviews about the delayed installation, and I assumed a few days here and there would be too big of a deal, so we decided to go with Quality. After contacting them through Angie’s list, it took them about two days to get back to me and have a sales rep out to take some measurements, etc. He left the estimate at our door, without any number for us to call him back or any way to say “YES” we want to go with your company. That should have been my first clue that this was a bad decision. After leaving several calls and emails with the Omaha office, my wife received a call from the rep saying that he would come back out to pick-up the contract on May 16th; when he arrived my wife pointed out some changes that we wanted done (the location of a back gate, where to dump the dirt, etc.), which she described as having to pull teeth. My wife had several questions, including their sprinkler policy, etc. and also wanted a firm timeline. One of the things we made clear, was that we NEEDED to have the fence up within a month… and were assured that the fence would be up no later than 30 days. They did require a 70% or 80% deposit, which was a bit shocking, but again, we assumed they are a big name in the area, so we had faith and trust. Before he left, my wife again asked him for a contact number, to which she was told “we don’t give that info out, you can contact me at the main number if you have any questions.” And was then told we would receive a phone call within 15 days to schedule the install; they cashed our check the very next day. After not hearing from them, and leaving several phone calls, I was finally contacted by one of their employees 35 days later, and was told that due to the flooding my fence would not be going up any time soon. When I explained that I was promised 30 days, had not been contacted by anyone to explain there was a delay, and emphasized that we were on a tight time line because of our HOA and travel plans, the woman said she would have to get back to me “tomorrow.” What I found out was that for Quality, “Tomorrow” means YOU have to call them tomorrow, the next day, and the next to get any kind of response. On July 1st, I was told that all the material to my fence had finally arrived and that I would receive a call on July 5th with an install date… guess who didn’t get a call on the 5th? When I called on the 5th to speak with the female I had been in contact with, she was always away from her desk. On the 6th, I was finally able to get back in contact with her… and her response was “Oh, I don’t have any messages that you called.” Along with being told that even though I was suppose to be told my install date, that portion is actually done by a completely separate portion of their company, and THAT person would call me sometime in the next week. After pushing back, I was able to get the installation department’s number, and surprise surprise… no answer, even after 5 messages. During the week of July 11th, I was finally able to get in contact with the CFO, who ended up being my point of contact for the rest of the process, and she was able to get me an install date. I was put in contact with her, because at this point I had no fence, they had my money, and I had zero confidence that I would ever get anything installed… so I wanted either a refund or some sort of discount on the price of my fence. I was assured that the CFO could do that for me, and after speaking with her, she agreed that I should not have to pay full price. However, she claimed that she had several meetings with the owner and he did not agree with giving me (or anyone else) a discount for their delayed process… so full price would be the only price I would pay. On July 19th, the installers showed up at my home, installers that I was originally told were NOT subcontracted (that is one of their big selling points).. yet another lie. The crew spoke no English, luckily I speak Spanish, and had a kid working with them that looked no older than 12 years old (seriously… he was that young). They worked fast and told me that they did not hit any of my sprinklers, or any of the utility lines. Well, shortly after they left, my neighbor came over to let me know that they had cut HIS cable line while digging the holes for the posts, and weeks later I was told by the CFO that I was receiving a bill for sprinkler repairs… caused during the installation. Turns out the installers claimed they hit my sprinkler lines three times and repaired them somehow… but no one can tell me how that happened, what was used to repair my sprinklers, AND the crew is not a sprinkler company… they are “trained” in sprinkler repair. The following morning, after a strong storm, my wife took the dogs out to find 5 slats had blown off the fence and were in our neighbor’s yard, so I went and recovered them, and put them back in place. After pulling at each single slat, we discovered that the fence had not been manufactured properly at the warehouse, and 90% of the slats could not and would not lock in place (the equivalence of putting a straw in a whole). BUT the bill for the remainder of the fence was in mail box the next morning, with a note explaining that we had 7 days to pay the balance after which there would be a 18% interest on unpaid balances. Sssooo another phone call into the CFO, and a visit from her vinyl manager, they confirmed that the fence was not properly finished… and a repair ticket would have to be generated. The vinyl manager himself ended up having to come out and not only repair the bottom crimping, but also the majority of the top of the pickets. He was there for near 3 hours. AND still after all that, we still had to pay full price. The CFO was kind enough to send us a $50 gift certificate to a local nursery… along with a bill for the sprinkler repair. I am having my sprinkler company come out to inspect my lines, because I don’t think that anything was actually hit… and if they were, I can only assume they “repaired” it with nothing more than duct tape. I have told my neighbors and submitted a HOA request with the drama surrounding Quality… because beyond the lack of communication, lies, and delays, delays, and more delays, I had to pay extra to have my HOA extend our permit. So unless you don’t care who, when, and how the fence is put up… use anyone else. Because all of their selling points are false: They DO subcontract out their work, they DON’T care about communication, and they WILL NOT put up your fence when they promise. With such poor customer service, I don’t know how they stay in business, it is clear that the only thing they are concerned with is their profit margin.

Since the transactoin is not complete, it is impollible to say "how it went"; thus far though, I am totally disattisfied.
Description of Work: On June 1 we signed a contract to install fencing in our back yard and paid the 60% deposit required. On July 15 (6 weeks later) we contacted them and were told by a "customer service representative" that the fence was being assembled. Since then, silence. The contract is not clear to a layman of how long we need to wait for installation but the "rep" pointed out that it stated to allow 5-6 weeks for the "posts to set"; follish me, I didn't ask SPECIFICALLY what they ment. The responsiveness in the bidding/contract was first-rate; their performance after they cahsed the check couldn't have been poorer.
