Pyramid Roofing

Very disappointed in Pyramid Roofing. The representative that we worked with was great, but things went downhill from the time we signed the contract until the roof was done. It seemed to take forever for our name to come up on the schedule and we kept being promised dates that did not materialize. When shingles were finally delivered the bundles sat up on our roof for over 5 weeks before a crew showed up. We were promised an experienced crew due to our roofline, but the crew that came were from out of state and said it was only the 2nd roof they had worked on in Omaha. Their vehicles left oil spots on our driveway and we had to pick nails out of the gutters when they left. We also have a gutter that leaks now that never did before. They left black marks on our siding in 5 or 6 places when they threw the old shingles off. We thought we did apporpriate research before going with them, but we regret our decision. They were not the cheapest bid we received, but we thought their good reputation was worth something. We would not hire them again if we had to do it over.

The claims estimator from Pyramid Roofing strung me along ever since the June 2016 hailstorm in Omaha. After still no action from them after the new year, 2017, I called them and requested a different claims estimator because the current one assigned to me kept dragging his feet and I was getting nowhere. Two days after I made this call to them, Mike, the person in charge, phoned me and said they were not going to be able to get my roof finished in 2017 and that I needed to look elsewhere. Obviously, this was due to the conflict I had with the original claims estimator. Either that or, because they were very busy with other claims from the hailstorm, they chose me, a 75-year-old woman whom they felt they could leave “high and dry” without any consequences, would be their best choice in somewhat reducing their overloaded work schedule. Between their lack-a-daisical work practices and their possible age-discrimination action, I would not recommend this unethical company to anyone who is looking for a company with morals, scruples, or work principles.
