We signed a contract with Josh Egan and Chris Nielsen, dba Premier Paving USA, LLC. To complete the work on our pool deck with their product. When the subcontractors were on the job and starting to apply the product, we questioned about the power-washing of the deck as Josh had indicated this would be done prior to the application of the product. The contractors said that Josh did not inform them to bring the power washer to the job. Then Josh was called and asked by his sub-contractors to come to the job site. Josh stated that if he comes to the job site, that he would rather tear up the contract and walk away from the job. On the following day, his sub-contractors did the power washing and removal of loose caulking as they stated this was a normal part of preparation. As the work progressed, the subcontractors kept questioning if they were going to get paid as they said Josh advised them that we would give them a bad check. We told the sub-contractors that a check would be issued upon completion of the job. The quality of the work diminished about two-thirds of the way thru the job. Because the product was not properly troweled and leveled, the surface in many areas are not level or smooth to walk on. There are many spots that have sharp edges where our grandkids and adults are stating the sharp objects are hurting their bare feet. The contract specified that payment in full upon completion of the job. When they completed the job, we were advised not to walk on the pebble surface as it required a 24-hour curing time. If we were able to walk on this prior to issuing a check for the work, I would not have paid them until it was properly repaired. After waiting this 24 hour time period, and seeing the problems, we called and emailed the other owner, Chris, who came to inspect the property and said it would be properly repaired while we were out of town on a planned trip. Upon returning, our security indicated that the sub-contractors were at the job for only 12 minutes. An additional email to Chris telling him there was still major concerns because of the sharpness and unevenness that he was going to address. It has now been two weeks and we have had no response from Chris.

The experience was great. It took one day. There was minimal mess. No heavy equipment involved. We had this done in May and I waited over the summer to write a review. So far things look great. No signs of any settling or cracking issues. Many friends have remarked how great this looks and some have had it done in our area as well.
Description of Work: Provider overlaid our patio with a decorative pebble-like substance.

Description of Work: They put pebble paving around our pool deck and included |a border design in a different color. It made a huge difference in the look of the pool! There were a couple minor problems with the pool but Josh was very responsive and took care of them in a timely way. We also had our front step done.
