Description of Work: Pluses - I came home from burying my Mom to learn that my insurance company had cancelled my insurance because the roof had 'aged' out even though it wasn't leaking, and hadn't sustained hail damage like the neighbors. Premier came out and gave me an estimate when other companies wouldn't, or in the case of one just didn't show up. They removed three layers of shingles and the original shakes on a 97 year old house. Laid down OSB, shingled, drip edge. Shingles are beautiful, 35 yr architectural. Crew worked fast in less than optimal weather. | |Negatives - Patrick was sometimes difficult to get a hold of, it took almost 6 months for them to come and get an extra piece of OSB that they had placed on my storm cellar basement exit doors, Patrick verbally said he would clean the gutters bud didn't, and trim the branch on the tree that was rubbing the old roof but didn't. The workers also broke through the wood layer they left on the roof (under the OSB) so that in a couple of places you can see the OSB and damaged the trim that butted up against the facia and the underside of the roof and didn't replace it. Their ladder scrapped paint off the front trim, Patrick said when the weather warmed up he would come and touch it up but didn't. Patrick wasn't concerned about the OSB showing under the soffit area and offered no solution, but I personally don't see how it passed the Omaha's Roofing inspection. | |The reason I would use them again is that they have all the extra shingles, and they did help me when no other company I contacted would even give me an estimate. I learned later, it was partly due to so many jobs from storms, and because October / November is not considered good weather to shingle even though it was dry that year. | |For cost comparison - the house is a one story, finished attic, about 26' x 38'.

Description of Work: The two areas of concern were under warranty. The response was prompt , courteous and professional. Needed shingle replaced on roofing job done in 2010 and deck maintenance done with inferior product in 2010. The deck "re-do" was so much better and has lasted! We are currently working with Premier for hail damage done on roof and deck. Jim has gone above and beyond the call of duty. It is refreshing to find a company out there where the customer comes first!

+ -1 moreWe had a leak (which we initially thought was caused by ice-dams) which continued to dribble water into our living room as the weather warmed. I called 4 companies on a Saturday not expecting returns till Monday. Jim called me back the same day asking for more information and letting me know he would be in touch by no later than Sunday (which he followed through on). He even showed up early to make the estimate. During the inspection Jim was thorough, informative and helpful in understanding all that was going on with our leak without hard-selling anything. The estimate was well within what we expected to pay (considering it is roughly 1/3 of the roof). We scheduled the job for Wednesday, but Jim called due to potential rains and they did the job a day early. His crew was extremely hard working and had the entire job done in around 4 hours (setup, old roof stripping, removing and replacing the damaged plywood, moisture-sealing, re-roofing and cleanup). Their workmanship blended right into the older roofing and would require a hard look to see where the new and old come together. Now that they have left, I have found no debris to even signify they had been here. Very clean. I found the experience as a whole to be extremely professional, efficient, friendly and reasonable. Jim told me what they were going to do and they did exactly that. Jim and his crew performed incredibly well and I would recommend them to anyone in the Omaha area for roof work. I wish my experiences with other contract work went this smoothly.

Your estimate was right in line with others I obtained. I'm glad I chose the more expensive material rather than cedar... It just looks beautiful. In addition, I so appreciated you taking out the broken down playground and gazebo (at no additional charge... what a deal!) It was very nice to see your staff just take on and fix the little unexpected things that came up. The craftsmanship is superb. I can't find a single screw-up! The new patio door is such a great addition and when he realized something wasn't quite right, he took the entire door down and re-installed it... even though I couldn't have told anything was wrong. I certainly felt no need to inspect their work to make sure they were doing a good job. Your staff was polite and clean when I was home (sometimes they didn t know I was home with my bedroom window open and even then their conversations were nothing but appropriate for the workplace.) The only thing bad I have to say is as the deck was extended I could see up on to the roof and realize now how badly it needs to be worked on! I will have the insurance folks take a look and then be in contact with you regarding that.

I knew he had additional costs that he never charged me for too. I wish I would have been pickier with the gutter work. The roof is great but the gutters could have been better.

Jim's crew covered my home with new vinyl siding, replaced all the windows, including the patio door, and replaced my old deck with stamped concrete and steps made from composite material. The workmen were professional and did great work from start to finish. They also did a great job of cleaning up after they were done.

+ -1 moreI was quite impressed by the integrity of this company. Jim and his crew have a high standard for quality workmanship. It took 2 days to tear out the block foundation and pillars. Jim was careful to keep the damage to the front lawn confined to the smallest area possible. I was amazed that he was able to do this considering the size of the task. Once this was completed the rest of the project went rather fast. The weather was a prohibiting factor, yet the crew continued through mild rain. Some customization of materials was required to keep the appearance of the period, and they did a wonderful job. I now have the most beautiful front porch in the town of Valley, Ne. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for top of the line professional workmanship. Special thanks to to Premier Exteriors and it's crew - Job well done!
Description of Work: My front porch was in a dilapidated state. Jim and his crew tore out the block foundation, pillars and flooring and rebuilt the entire structure using high quality, no maintenance materials. I really didn't want to tear out the block foundation as Jim had suggested. But after demolition began it was apparent that Jim's initial assessment was correct. The block was no longer providing the structural support that was required for the upper level of the house. New footings were poured and new support posts installed. All the floor joists were replaced and new decking, stairs, posts and railings installed. From start to finish 2 and 1/2 weeks. It would have been completed much sooner if there hadn't been so many stormy days.

My furnace kept going off at night and I had a hard time convincing them it was because they moved the pipes, but once I did, they fixed the problem. The work is excellent and I'm very pleased with my home!

They also rewired a couple of outlets in the kitchen. They ended up spending a little more than they thought it would cost and didn't charge me any extra. The estimate they gave me is what I paid. Also they wouldn't except any money until the project was complete. I have had a couple of problems and when I alerted them they sent someone out that day to fix it.
Description of Work: Totally remodeled a bathroom. They gutted the entire room, replaced some support beams, and rebuilt the bathroom, floor, ceiling, walls, and a cabinet.
