They’re consistently late, non-communicative, and indecisive. One week they will take yard waste, the next week they won’t. One week they take boxes, then two weeks later they won’t. If you call to inquire, they’ll apologize and say “it’s our policy to only take grass clippings in paper sacks.” Would’ve been nice to know. “We only take boxes that are 2’x4’.” Then why’d ya take the same boxes two weeks ago? Seriously, lacking in customer service. Look at the reviews here and elsewhere, or just talk to your neighbor. They may have been good ten years ago, but they’ve obviously changed management.

Drivers will often miss a pick up and the customer service will make excuses for the drivers and promise they will resolve the issue the next business day. They will repeat this process, stringing you along until it meets THEIR convenience. In my case my trash wasn't picked up until 5 days later. I found that unacceptable. There are much better services in the area that do understand customer service. Choose them. Avoid this company.

Recycling Rewards Program. I have had several problems with this company, but they are the only one I can use in Bellevue, NE. I saw my 33 gallon bag full of washed plastic recycling containers thrower in a garbage truck, not the recycle truck. But what I am going through now is again a problem. I am trying to join their rewards recycling program, one I am willing to pay to join. This is the company that advertises on television. Called to join, told a container would be delivered with program instructions. The container with NO instructions was delivered by pushing it at the street, rolled down driveway until it hit my garage door. I called about the instructions and was told they will be mailed. Waited one week and called again, they will be mailed. They have my address, I am paying for this program, and the service is the worst I have seen from any sanitation company! Three times I was told what they will do to help, three times I was lied to, ignored.

I pay $95 for 3 months. They seem reliable. The prices seem high but they are lower than other companies in the area.

They are good. I have been with them this time about five months. I was with them one other time and I must say service has improved drastically. They pickup my trash and they respond to my inquiries. When I was with them it's been probably ten years ago they wouldn't return my calls, they wouldn't answer my letters and they picked up my trash for a long time and then they missed five weeks in a row at which time I can't go for a check and found somebody else, but this time around they picked up the trash every time and answered the phone. I would continue to use them.

There are a lot of companies that do garbage collection in my area but they are the most prominent. They are consistent and punctual. My overall experience with them has been excellent.

I used these guys for ten years. I switched to new vendor based upon price. Papillion Sanitation now expects a $25.00 extortion fee to cancel their service. That is bad, but I got a past due notice for an invoice I never received for three weeks of service. I called them and asked for an invoice which they sent followed by another past due notice the next day. How can a bill be past due when you did not received an invoice to begin with? The invoice I received was dated 9/24/12 and their past due notice states that my account is between 30 - 60 days past due. I realize Papillion Sanitation is probably getting killed because a new low cost provider, but that doesn't mean they get to abandon sound business practices or blame this issue on their computer system. I owe them $26.28 for the services they provided which I will pay promptly as I do all of my bills. I have some suggestions on what they can with their $25.00 poison pill.
