Initially I was very impressed with the owner Joe Vasco because he was very personable and came across as a professional guy who understood my landscaping needs. The landscape project I needed done was to install a drainage system around my pool, landscape my backyard (put in 2 landscape beds & sod the rest of the yard), put in a flagstone walking path to the backyard, lay a concrete pad for a Tough Shed and install some landscape lighting. I was informed workers would show up on a specific day and they showed up a couple of days later. Throughout the work it seemed the owner did not supervise his staff very well or check to see that they were doing a proper job. The workers were nice enough but didn't do a good job at leveling our backyard or putting in a drainage system which was the initial reason for hiring them. Also one worker left cigarette butts all over our yard and put out a cigarette in one of my planters. They also left a razor blade and other pop cans and trash laying at our residence at the end of most work days. I was advised 4 workers would do the work, and most days only 2-3 workers ever showed up. A lot of the time they stood around either taking breaks or hanging out on cell phones or supposedly waiting for further supplies to be able to do their work. During the 4 week process which I was initially advised would be 2-3 days, they had to come back twice and redo their drainage system to get it right. They ruined 5 sprinkler heads and cut into our sprinkler system in 2 areas and left standing water on one side of our yard. Also the pathway they installed from the front yard to the back yard is not level and uneven in distance from side to side in width. Upon completion I was charged for the work completed, which had to be reworked on several occasions. I ended up paying $5,000 (sod costs) more than I was initially given a price bid and even over paid by $700 that the designer charged me for in a final bill that I had already paid for about 3 weeks previously. I was then advised that he would send me a check for the $700 and he thanked me for catching his error. Overall this has not been a pleasant landscape experience and some of the sod they initially laid is still yellow and probably dead and I already have a lot of weeds in the two landscape beds that they planted as also alot of crabgrass throughout the new sod. I was advised they sprayed for weeds which did not kill them. Also on several of the tree's they planted the leaves had turned to yellowish brown and were dead. After numerous calls and texts which were not answered for days at a time , two guys finally came to our house to dig up two dead tree's and replant two new ones. But while they were at our home they didn't do any of the weed pulling or replace any of the yellow sod or replant and plants that have been dead in two of the landscape beds. They didn't fix any of the other problems that we left messages about. I was advised that the plants/tree's that they planted did come with a one year guarantee. Basically overall I am very displeased with the amount of landscape materials I actually received for what I paid for and the customer service provided by the company. Also throughout the project and after the project was complete I would leave messages for the Landscaper and mostly it would take days for him to even acknowledge us and either text or leave a message with a vague response that he’d be out by the end of that week etc. And of course no one would call or show up to rectify all the mistakes that needed to be fixed. This might have been a better experience if the Landscaper/owner would have exhibited more on sight supervision of his staff and maybe things would have been done right the first time instead of them having to redo things. Also I found it offensive that instead of completing our project in a timely manner he seemed more consumed with finding new clients and going to those appointments instead of dealing with the issues involved in our project and correcting what needed to be done to finish our landscape project. Beware of this company you won't get quality work from this company, just alot of empty promises for services you'll never receive.
