They installed the springs and the work looked good. They didn’t make a mess and the work looked professional however the next day the garage door wouldn’t open. After pulling the emergency cable to get it open I couldn’t get it to close. I called them back out and the service tech blamed me for buying “a cheap garage door”. He turned a couple screws increasing the pressure to open and close then demanded I pay an additional $80 for a service call.

The technician Rich called and arrived promptly. Rich was very professional, polite and courteous. he completed the job quickly and also serviced the door. He took the time to explain what he did and also provided a quick tutorial on maintenance of the door with professional garage door lubricant. I will be sure to use Norms Door Garage Service in future. Excellent job and very professional.

Found out spring had broke on garage door with car in garage. Called Dan at Norms and although it was mid morning on a Saturday, he found a way to get someone there within two hours. He was very helpful and courteous. Jock came and replaced two springs in quick time. He was professional and courteous and extremely efficient. I have used Norms a number of times over the years and my family has used them. This is a great business that provides great service. I will continue to use and recommend them.

Norms door was very helpful finding the type and style of door we were looking for, but then it went downhill from there. The install process was terrible and we've had to have them come back out twice to correct the problems. Once we arrived home after the install, one door didn't close all the way (1 inch gap to the floor), and the outside molding had been left partially tacked up with all of the nails protruding. None of the handle hardware had been installed on either of the garage doors - it's as if they didn't finish the install and just decided to go home at the end of the day. They sent out a young man to correct the one inch gap when closing the door, but he couldn't figure out how to install the handle hardware so we sent him home and requested the job to be finished by another individual, but we never heard back. Then we started to hear a loud popping noise from the second garage door after a week of use, and after further inspection noticed that the roller rails on the inside on both sides had not been tightened and were flopping around when the door was opened and closed. I had to call the service department to express my disappointment with the install and failure to come back out to install the handle hardware. I will not be letting the second service man leave until they install the handles and I thoroughly go through each door and am entirely satisfied with their operation. I'm hoping there hasn't been damaged to the nylon rollers and bushings from the improper install and using the door for a week.

I used Norm's Garage Door Service. I will use them again in the future. I have used them multiple times. They were extremely timely and helpful. The guy did an outstanding customer service as far as explaining what happened and why the repair was needed as it was. I always get an explanation when you are getting repairs done.

Great service. A spring broke on my garage door so I could not open it this morning. I called them this morning at 7:30am and they were there at 9:20am. Great job, replaced both springs and door works fine.

Jason was incredibly thorough , friendly and professional. He not only installed the opener, he showed much concern over details such as securing the garage door railing, making sure the 'eyes' were at the correct level, and the garage door closed quietly and sealed correctly. He showed me how to program my openers and talked to me about available features like using my opener with a smart phone app. He also suggested installing a new junction box to plug my opener into and explained to me that the way the old one was plugged in was hazardous. I really appreciated his concern and how he looked at the big picture. He even opened up the manual and reminded me to register the opener to take advantage of the lifetime warranty. I thought the price was reasonable, especially for the quality of work and level of professionalism. My one complaint is that I called and left a message to set up an appointment but never heard back and had to call them again to set it up. After that, they were responsive and got me scheduled quickly.

They have been very responsive, if you have something that happens during the day like your garage door won't open for whatever reason, which has happened to me, that they will respond the same day, they will do everything in their power to get out there to know what your problems are. They response the same day or the next day.

Jeff was prompt and did a great job both figuring out what was causing the problem and getting it fixed quickly. We would definitely recommend Norm's Door Service and will use them again.

He did an excellent job. They put in the lift system, they also put in oil control in the inside of the garage and an outside control where you can push in a code and open the door. You also get garage door openers, the portable ones. It was a very good price. We've used them more than once. I never have any problems saying anything positive about them, I wouldn't think twice.

I don't see myself ever contacting anyone else for future garage door issues - Norm's Door was AWESOME! From the initial consultation to the end result, EVERYBODY at Norm's Doors was super pleasant and easy to deal with. Corey (sp?) was especially helpful and always good about getting back to me in a timely manner. After the initial installation, there were a couple of small concerns. As soon as I called and spoke with Corey, he set up a time to have someone come out and take a look. The issues were fixed and my doors look and work great! A great experience overall :)

We appreciated their knowledge, selection, and responsiveness. Though we went with some lesser expensive doors and openers, we feel that we still got high quality. I would recommend Norm's to others in the market for new garage doors.

Spring broke on garage door. Norm's Door Service came the next day after I called and replaced both springs on garage door. The service representative was professional, fixed the problem quickly even though the clutter in my garage was an obstacle, and left the door working smoother than it had before the spring broke.

Polite, pleasant and quick worker. He did the job a lot faster than what I did the last time a spring broke which was about 17 years ago. I would use them again.

He fixed the broken opener easily and even helped me program my new car to open the door remotely. ( a task that was driving me nuts) We've had three experiences with Norm's Door Service in 35 years in our home. Each has been great!

Called in the morning when the garage door broke when I first opened it. They came out the same day, early afternoon. This is my 2nd experience with them, and both experiences were fantastic. Very fast service, very pleasant to work with, and very thorough in their repair and testing. I won't call anyone else.

It went great and even though my garage door is old and not standard, they fix it great and very fast. Explained everything that they did in detail. Very nice and professional.

The garage door opener was installed properly (as far as I could tell) and quickly. Also, the service person from Norm's Door Service did a good job of explaining how to use the garage door opener along with answering all my questions in regard to operation of the garage door opening system.

the installation included all new hardware new door opener and took about 3 hours to install, it all went well, no problems. the door functions so quite, the old door had been on the garage since it was built back in 1973.

The garage door got stuck beneath the trunk panel of the car (long story), and when we got it removed, the garage door was bent at the top and the wheels started popping off the track when we tried to close it. It was 3:45pm when I called Norms (after searching on Angie's list to find a reputable company). The said they'd have someone out tonight since I couldn't close the garage door and couldn't keep it open all night, but it might be after 5pm, which would require a higher service fee. At that point I didn't care, I just needed the work done tonight. The service technician called me at 4pm and said they were on their way. They got here between 415 and 4:30 and were able to fix the garage door in an hour and we didn't have to pay the higher service fee. Everyone I talked to was so nice and so sympathetic about the situation, and I'm still amazed that they were able to come out and fix it SO QUICKLY on the same day. I was expecting to have to have an entire new door installed, but he was able to fix it without replacing any of the door, and it was only slightly over $100. I just can't believe how great this service was, and soooo reasonable for same day service. They definitely turned my day around! Call them. You will NOT be disappointed. I can't imagine there is better service out there anywhere.

Easily made a Saturday morning appointment with no surcharge. Repair guy called ahead and arrived on time. He knew immediately what was wrong, gave me a price and had it fixed in less than an hour.
