My first disappointment was when the owner called a week before Thanksgiving (about 2 days before the scheduled cleaning) to tell me there was a scheduling conflict, and I'd need to reschedule. I had planned to have Thanksgiving dinner at my house, and I wanted the house cleaned for that event. So I rescheduled. On the day of the cleaning, the man spent about an hour in my tiny bathroom and did nothing spectacular. Nothing was any cleaner than I could have done myself in less than an hour. In the bathroom, bedroom and office, after he cleaned items on shelves, he didn't even put them back neatly... just somewhere on the shelves. I had to rearrange everything back to the way it was. Before and after the visit there was a huge cobweb on the ceiling fan in my bedroom. The woman spent about 90 minutes in my kitchen that's approx 12' X 12'. From what I could tell, she cleaned the window well, which really isn't part of housecleaning... especially if she's going to take 90 minutes to clean the kitchen and leave 30 minutes for the living room. I wouldn't even have noticed the window well had been cleaned were it not for spattered dirt on the blinds (the window is directly above the sink). So when she left, I spent 30 minutes wiping down each blade, front and back,. Now for the products and equipment. Whatever they used for chrome and mirrors left horrible streaks... I had to clean them all over again. Also, the vacuum cleaner had definitely seen its day. When she was done, the house smelled like dust and the carpet actually had small dust bunnies in a few places, so the vacuum was just blowing dirt. I had to vacuum every room again.

No Hustle Cleaners is a more accurate description of this service. I purchased a 3 hour/2 technician cleaning package from Groupon. This is the typical contract I hire to clean my 3,600 square foot home. The appointment was scheduled over a month in advance. The day of the service I received a call from the owner to advise me that one of their technician’s had a death in the family but she could send a team the next day. That concerned me as a few days prior I asked if they could come a day later and was told she was booked up. The owner then asked if I was looking to schedule a monthly cleaning appointment which I said no…I use cleaning service on an ‘as need’ basis. She talked about the frequency levels of her clients. It made we wonder if the way I answered the question and the sudden availabillity a day later of a cleaning crew would determine who was sent to clean my house. When the 2 people arrived the next day, I had more reason to be concerned as my husband said they had difficuty getting their cleaning equipment out of the car. A half hour into the appointment, the lady cleaning the kitchen had not even finished the counters. She was in no hurry and/or had no clue how to manage her time. The man seemed to be doing most of the cleaning and obviously not supervising the woman. Two hours and 45 minutes into the cleaning, they had not even moved to the lower level. After 3 hours, there was a burst of activity as they scrambled to finish. The man ran downstairs to clean the bathroom and bar but never vacuumed or dusted the entertainment and tv rooms nor bedrooms, office or excercise room. They stayed 15 minutes past but still had not cleaned even 2,000 square feet. I have never had a cleaning crew unable to complete this work in 6 hours in addition to cleaning ceiling fans, dust woodwork, walls. The quality of the work they completed was substandard for the industry. There were crumbs on the floor in the corners of the kitchen, coffee stains were not cleaned off the wood floor, television screens were not dusted, and food spills were still on the countertop. The master bathroom mirror was wiped but not cleaned, nothing was dusted on the sinktops and at that point I was so horrified, I stopped inspecting. t's important to note that when I walked by a room they were cleaning, I heard a cabinet door close and that concerned me. There is no reason for them to be opening my cabinets. I called Groupon who registered my complaint and refunded some of the cost. You get what you pay for but in this case, even that is not true.
