Just a short note to say thank you . While visiting from out of state , my daughter had a small window that needed blinds installed. I tried a couple of the big named outfits, but the couldn’t help me. After speaking with a young lady in your louvre & blinds area , she came up with this , I took the measurements that were required, she wrote up the order. They were delivered to house , & my son in-law installed them. Thank you

Since it is a box store it is a little more do-it-yourself when it comes to picking stuff out and keeping things organized. The staff, however, is willing to help in any way they can, regularly pouring through catalogs to find special order merchandise for me. The only thing I don't recommend buying from menards is appliances or lumber, especially in bulk. You really have to be willing to do the work yourself as far as picking out your items and accessories, its not full service like Ferguson or the like, but it is much cheaper. And you do have to stay on top of them, like if you special order something - again its not a full service suck up to you kind of place, but you can really get some good deals on quality merchandise. In faucets, products are identical, in lighting, its hit or miss but if you're willing to look there is some really nice stuff for cheap. Carpet, I think its the most dense carpet you can find in town for under $1.20/sf - and it looks good. I recommend talking to Eric, Ray or Ted if you go to the menards on 120th and dodge.

We were in and out in no time. The employee was very knowledgeable about doors and took us to the door we wanted just from showing him a picture of our existing doors. He matched it up pretty closely, no one would be able to tell the difference.

Menards took a few days to complete this work. I didn't feel that this was more than a satisfactory job done. Within a few weeks, some tiles began to loosen and the grout started coming out. I didn't follow up with them. I wasn't happy with the workmanship.

He is definitely an expert at what he does. He is a very nice guy to have doing work at the home. We had a little bit of a problem that was my fault because I told him the wrong size windows I needed. He could have made me re-order everything, but instead he did extra work to make the windows fit. Best part was he didn't even charge me extra.
