Description of Work: I highly recommend Landscape Designs Inc. Couldn't be happier with our retaining wall. We hired them to tear out our current railroad tie walls and steps. They put in three retaining walls and built steps. I can't believe the difference it makes. From beginning to end Brian, Mike and team were incredible to work with. I took 8 bids for this project and Landscape Designs Inc was not only the best bid but the most knowledgable, provided references, and had excellent communication throughout the project. Feel free to ask Brian or Mike for my contact info if you want to see the work they do. I'm more than happy to show off my new backyard and recommend this company to all.

+ -1 moreI think the job went as very well, and I didn't have to be there to have the job done. I am pleased with the job and would not hesitate to use them again. Done in a timely manner as was promised.
Description of Work: I have an outside stairwell that the retaining wall was looking pretty bad at the top. Curtis suggested I bring the wall to ground level, instead of replacing the whole wall, which was still solid and in good shape, and then I could build it up or decorate accordingly after my fencing was installed next to it. He also repaired top step and the pad above this step as they were both bad and could cause undermining of the stairway. He gave me an estimate and a start date approximately 2 1/2 to 3 weeks out. He met the date at 3 weeks and called me the day before. Work was completed on the date he was out which was a Friday. He was out Tuesday after the holiday weekend to pull up forms, backfill around pad and did an additional request of mine, and cleaned up. Looks great. Was a small job, but was done completely and he only charged me a small extra amount for the additional request I made.

+ -1 moreIt turns out that Landscape Designs, Inc., does not do designs. They do not deal with plants at all, only hardscape. They expected me to already have a design and to know specifically what hardscape I wanted them to build. Curtis said that there must have been some misunderstanding when I talked to the representative on the phone. He expected me to have a specific retaining wall that I wanted to build. When I asked him about improving the drainage around the driveway, his recommendation was that I replace the entire driveway. I feel that they misrepresented themselves and was disappointed by the meeting with Curtis.
Description of Work: Curtis Knight arrived and discussed with me what I wanted. He gave me advice on fixing the driveway.

+ -1 moreThis was a relatively large job that we had wanted to get done for a while and we were lucky to find this company because they were very sharp, punctual and determined to do the job. It was a three man crew and they did the job perfectly and as quickly as possible. Their clean up was great too.
Description of Work: They put in a 4 x 5 foot retaining wall in my backyard.
