Joe Brym Painting

Joe and his crew did an excellent job! I was very impressed with Joe's ethics, pricing, quality and more than ever, his follow up. He kept me very informed as to when he would be available to do the job and made certain he made phone calls for any updates. I will use them this spring to paint the exterior of my house and look forward to working with him. Thanks for a job well done!!

We had a new high deck that needed its initial staining. It was part pressure treated wood and part cedar. His crew power washed the deck and let it dry for a few days. We ended up with a very rainy period, so Joe and his team swarmed the deck to get the stain done in one day when the first few dry days were in the forecast. The deck is beautiful now. Each and every square inch received attention. Despite pushing hard to get the work done in a day, no stain was found anywhere other than where it belonged. They meticulously cleaned everything up. Cost was very reasonable considering the quality work

Estimate was detailed and thorough, and included items that I didn't think to ask about but were necessary, My son painted for Joe Brym for several years, so I had a chance to hear about the level of detail, precision, and thoroughness of their work. My son told me of a number of times that he had to redo work that he thought was perfect, but that it didn't meet Joe's high standard. They are not usually the low bidder because they are more focused on the quality of the work versus being the low bidder. We didn't select Joe for the job because we decided to wait on painting. When it comes time to do our deck, he will be the first in line

The job was great. The painters were friendly and professional. There was no paint spillage. Every surface was covered and well prepped. They did a wonderful job as always.

Mr. Brym was great. He came by before hand and took pictures of what was to be painted. He had me select the paint colors and gave me an estimate. The day of the paining he arrived on time. They used two coats of paint and everything turned out very well. There were no issues with spilled paint or any other issues.

Joe Brym and his crew did an excellent job with everything they did to the house. Due to our exceedingly wet spring the provider kept us informed of the painting schedule. He was respectful of our landscaping and plants that were close to the house and made sure to cover the plants before painting. He did a wonderful all around job.

NO work was performed.

I called Joe Brym because of references from friends. I looked at 6 other homes he painted. Some were painted within a year, others painted up to 5+ years before.Joe gave me a written estimate (including specific things I wanted him to address while painting). While his price was a little higher than others, I signed the contract because his demonstrated results were very obviously far and away better that others I saw. I watched him paint a neighbor's home and watched other and quot;contracorsand quot; paint other neighbor's house's. It was like night and day. Some of the homes painted by competing contractors looked poor a week after completing (and are now due for another paint job) and my home looks like new. He actually was on site to do the painting (with 2 other employees). Other contractors I watched seemed to send out a couple and quot;young (college ageand quot;) kids whose primary purpose seemed to be and quot;get done quickly and move to the next job. I will hire Joe Brym again when (and if !!) my house requires painting again

Joe was responsive to my phone calls and was on time. I wasn't as prepared as I would have liked, but he worked with me on that and was patient with me. I purchased my own paint and he did the work. The finished job looks very nice. 8/24/2012 update: Since Joe finished painting we had a gentleman come in and caulk the new backsplash. The backsplash only goes up the wall 7and quot; and it is glass tile without a bullnose finish, so it needed to be caulked after painting was complete. The gentleman who caulked it said he wanted to wait at least a week for the new paint to dry--it was two weeks before he came back. When he caulked it he put painters tape on the wall for a nice edge (not sure if I would have done that but . . . ) and when he pulled the tape off, it took off the new paint down to the drywall. We had repaired the drywall where the paint came off. Joe painted over new drywall. When I called Joe he said he did prime the new drywall before he painted it, and he told me the guy who caulked it used too strong of painters tape. If it had been primed properly, the paint should not have peeled off as easily as it did. I had another painter come in to fix where the paint had been pulled off.

Joe Byrm is courteous, professional and always maintains great quality. He is very detail oriented and will inform you of any trim or board that needs attention or replacement. Joe is enthusiastic about his work and as a result is very good at what he does. I would highly recomend him. He does not do any advertising and is by word of mouth only.

I liked his timeliness, his professionalism and his flexibility to work around other contractors. He and his crew are so positive and upbeat, they were fun to have around. They had great attention to detail and they were continually making sure we were happy.
