In order to protect your home and lawn from flooding, erosion, and run-offs, our retaining walls are installed correctly and in a timely manner. We offer a variety of retaining wall options, including natural stone, wall blocks, and timber wood. Our concrete retaining wall blocks come in a number of colors as well. With more than 29 years of experience in the retaining wall business, we think we know a little about building retaining walls. Dave came right out for an estimate, and said he was a month out. Our date was pushed back twice due to rain, but I had no concerns about that. However, Dave asked me on more than on occasion to "remind" him he was going to come out. In our last conversation with him, he stated he would call when it was dry. We had 2+ dry weeks and we received no communication from him. Due to rain delays, I expected that he would be behind elsewhere, but I did expect some sort of communication indicating how far out he now was. After no communication for more than 2 weeks, we called and left a message that his services were no longer needed and he was free to call with questions or discuss. He never reached out to us at all.
Description of Work: Tear down and replacement of a retaining wall.

Jensen Retaining Walls is a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating. If our company lacked communication and organization, these facts simply would not be possible. As for the "reminders" that you say I requested, that is not true. I follow a specific work schedule for jobs. Having a customer remind me when to start their job is unprofessional and not the way in which our company runs. You have been leaving negative reviews on several websites and all of them have been inconsistent. It would have been impossible for you to have a "work completed date" since we never even did a job for you, after you yourself had said our "services were no longer needed." We never tore down or replaced your retaining wall so how could you review us on that if job wasn't even done. And the address you provided is incorrect, because in fact that is my home address, not your address. You seem to be confused and leaving misinformed reviews. We also noticed on your Google profile and other websites that reviews you've left on other local businesses in the Omaha area are solely negative. We value all past and future customers and look forward to working with anyone who may need a quality, custom built retaining wall. Thanks and have a great day

Dave and his crew were awesome. I had cracked patio and small wooden deck. He redesigned entire area with concrete and brick. Everything looks great. Dave really works with you, has great ideas, and the price is right.

He got it done and looks amazing!!
Description of Work: He was amazing . We had gotten ripped off BIGTIME TO A TUNE OF 27,000. After all was said and done. Jensen came in and knocked down his glued wall, and replaced it how it needed to be. He gave me a 5 year warrantee on the wall. The only thing is that I have called twice after the job was done to get it in writing and I am still waiting. I really think he forgot and was to busy ! So I am still waiting and hopefully he will see this and dropp it off due to the fact that he is a honest man!

I called to get a retaining wall fixed. Once he found out it was a small job, I never heard from him again after he told me he would be out that afternoon. Another customer said something similar and I did not listen.....guess I should have, seems to be a trend.

He did a amazing job. Had to teat down the crap dangerous wall thst K.L put up. It is now sturdy and safe. The only readon I wont rehire him is he gave me a 5 year warentee on the wall. He called and saif he needed the $ right away. He told me he would send the warranty in the mail. After two weeks I called and said I still haven't received the warranty he said his daughter handles it and I'll send it to me. After 2 months calm again so I'll send it no warranty. That's very frustrating. so moral of the story is no money till you have that one in your hand!!!! STILL WAITING!!!!!
Description of Work: Dave came out to replace my botched, poorly made, lips cut off, 1/2 GLUED 1/2 not done. Dangerous wall from a young kid who thought he knew all about building retsining walls. fo not hire a 22 year old kid wit thr initials K.S. he is a fake and fraud!!!

Wonderful!
Description of Work: Rebuilt our retaining wall that we had paid another person to build. This other person cut off the lips and glued the bricks together. This other person had started in April and we fired him in July. He also had built a 6 foot high pillars that he forgot to glue down so my husband and I knocked down his pillars, due to safety reasoned. Than we met Dave who laughed at the work he had done. We had Dave completely knock down the whole wall and build us a new one. He was on time and they did a wonderful job. But most of all it was secure.

Funny thing is on their website... it says in BIG BOLD LETTERS NO JOB TOO LARGE OR TOO SMALL. Better change your slogan.
Description of Work: Contacted this provider about a small retaining wall. Very unprofessional and said that the job wasn't big enough to waste his time on. Unless we wanted to pay for more that the job was really worth to have the work done.

It went great; started last Thursday 6/20 and finished today 6/26/2013...had a couple of rain days. Dave is a very down-to-earth man and was a joy to work with.
Description of Work: Removed existing concrete slabs(2) along with old rock and put beautiful retaining wall on both sides of my stairs.
