We noticed that the AC was running alot but the house did not cool off. Since we had used Jackson Appliance last fall to service the furance and I was pleased with their service, we called them for an estimate. The technician arrived promptly, and after examing the unit told my husband it was leaking freon and that the A-coil was in need of replacement. Since the AC/furnace unit is 20 yo, so we knew that was entirely possible. He gave us a written estimate for the replacement and then added freon to get the AC working in the meantime. After checking around, I found out their price was reasonable so I set up an appointment to have the work done. The technician called ahead to give me a time of arrival and arrived on time. He worked quickly and efficiently, and was very courteous. He told me there would be some condensation on the inside ducts for about 48 hours, and to call if we experienced any problems. After that time period, we noticed it wasn't cooling well, so I called the office. The manager told me he would have someone out the next afternoon to meet with my husband. Unfortunately, that next day there the sirens going off due to a severe thunderstorm with 80 mph wind gusts, rain, and hail. When technician called ahead, my husband told him he could wait until the storm blew over, but the tech told him he would come anyway. He showed up on time and topped off the freon in the outside unit with my husband holding a flashlight for him so he could see. Since then our AC has been working wonderfully, even in during the sweltering August heat! We would definitely call Jackson Home Appliance again for any future appliance service.

They came on time and did pretty well. They cleaned up after themselves. There was an oil leak from their vehicle and they left an oil stain on my driveway. They responded well to feedback that they shouldn't park in people's driveways. I would use them in the future, if necessary.

I checked Angie's List to find a repair shop to work on my dryer. I saw the previous ratings and selected this company. They were able to come 1 day sooner than anyone else and gave me "rough" estimates on the cost. The first trip was to determine why the dryer won't heat up. The technican was able to determine the problem with very little difficulty. He allowed me to watch him and answered ALL my questions without hesitation. We discussed replacing the front seal on the dryer drum, which I knew needed to be replaced. I suggested the rear seal be replaced at the same time and he agreed. The part needed to be ordered. The company kept me updated on the status of the ordered parts and when they would be able to return to complete the work. The second trip was "added on" rather than having to pay for another Service Call. I HIGHLY recommend this company to work on your home applicanes. They are knowledgable and costs are reasonalble.

I really like this particular appliance repair company. I knew they would give me an honest opinion regarding the situation. I also knew that if anyone could fix the refrigerator, it would have been them. I think they're wonderful. They are prompt in their attendance, they communicate well with you as a customer, and I think they have values.

Jackson Home Appliance Service did a very professional job on my dishwasher. I had a very favorable impression of the company. The worker was courteous and prompt. I felt their prices were very good compared to other companies. They fixed my dishwasher perfectly and left no mess when finished. I had no cleanup to do.

Our dishwasher has worked just fine since Jackson Home Appliance fixed it. They were able to fix it on the first visit and we only had to wait one day to get them here. The repairman was very clean and did a great job of explaining the problem before he started.

Jackson has done our entire appliance repair for the last several years. They are prompt, very skilled, and also honest about the cost involved. If the repair is too costly, and is not worth it, they will tell us. This happened with our clothes washer.
