Jackie Vaughan - Prudential

We were moving from Maryland to Omaha, and we called Prudential to get some more information on a home we saw online. We were really fortunate that Jackie was answering the phone that day. Not only did she immediately start trying to find homes in the areas we were interested in, but she even called apartment complexes to help us find a short-term (3 month) lease. The apartment she recommended was a great place and gave us the short-term lease we needed to finish finding a home. Over the next several months we made two trips to Omaha for house-hunting. Jackie was always there for us as we toured many many homes, even late in the evening on Friday nights sometimes. Jackie helped us find three homes which we made offers on, but none of them worked out. She was even willing to help us make an offer on a for-sale-by-owner home, which we thought was very generous. After those three offers fell through, we had zeroed in on one particular neighborhood, but there were no homes in our price-range currently on the market. Jackie actually went door-to-door asking if anybody was planning to put their house on the market and was able to find exactly the kind of house we were looking for right in our price range. We were set to make an offer before it came on the market, when we made the difficult decision that we couldn't live in that neighborhood after all. Jackie was gracious through it all. Always supportive of our decisions, and often anticipated our thoughts about a home which sure saved a lot of time! We finally found a home in a different neighborhood and made an offer which was accepted. Jackie was always there for us through the ups and downs and late nights of the many offers, and following through on everything from the contract to closing. After it all has been done for a few months, we know we are living in the perfect home and we owe that all to having Jackie as our realtor!
