Invisible Fence Of The Heartland

This company is nothing but a money drain - buyer beware! We had a break in our invisible fence (the one THEY installed), it took over 1 month for someone to get here. When he did arrive, he spent two hours trying to find the break, and was unable to find it. I had to pay $150 for the service call, and I still have a broken fence. I was told they would send out a different technician - and I would still be billed at $80/hour for THAT technician to try and find the break. So, BEWARE of the money you will spend on service and maintenance - there is nothing the owner can do to maintain or service the fence on their own. Dog collar adjustments need to be done AT their office (cannot be adjusted by owner) and any service call is $80/hour.

Expensive. Expect to pay pay pay for their services. The last straw was when their wire broke and they told us that an appointment would be a minimum of two weeks and our dogs were already through the property line. I finally went to Menards and bought an over the counter system and just replace the line every 6 months for less than $100.00

Works great

They were very friendly and responsive. Very detailed on how the project would go and were quick to answer / solve any questions or issues that we had. Al was great to work with and had a funny sense of humor. He was even great with our kids! The product has held up and I trust they will be here to help if any issues arise in the future.

Dates were scheduled and 50% deposit taken. I received several training sessions with my dog along with the installation of the invisible fence. The only additional cost were interior units I purchased...otherwise the estimate was exactly as promised.

The training of our dog was very effective. We have found that our dog really does not even need the dog collar anymore even though we use it. Our dog really enjoys going outside. We did find an alternative to the batteries that they installed and have found that the new way is a lot less expensive.

He also had suggestions to improve the safety and functioning of our system. I would definitely use them again.

I then called Dog Watch Hidden Fence, They came out the next day, put in a completely new system for less than my repair estimate. I have since cancelled my 12/16 appt with Invisible Fence and when I did the gal on the phone sounded shocked when I told her I just called another company to do it.

I live in a condo and years ago when I got my dog as a puppy I called on Invisible Fence. They came out set up the fence and trained my dog. In the 10+ years I have had it I have had very few problems. It is more costly then installing this type of fence myself, but over the years it has been worth it. After installation my dog has never tested it. Because I live in a condo from time to time the ground has to be airated. Everytime I have called them to come out and mark the fence they have been very prompt. I can only remember one time early on when the fence was down. When that happened, they were very quick to respond. The great thing with this fence is the monitor in the guarage that lets you know that the system is working. I check this everytime I enter my guarage. They are also great at providing signs for letting the public know my dog is on an invisible fence. Over the years I have replaced the signs , but the fence is still going strong. I would highly reccomend this company.

It turned out to be a really good thing because my dog can jump very high and she could jump over the fence we had. They offer bonus training if your dog needs more than three sessions. They were extremely pleasant, professional, and easy-going, and they all loved dogs. I would endorse them 100%
