We had 3 doors to replace. 1 from Master bedroom to deck, 1 from kitchen to same deck, 1 in lower level under the deck. First of all the doors had to be ordered and they gave me an approx date when they would come in. 2 weeks after that date I hadnt heard from them so I called. Supposedly they had just come in a few days ago and they just hadnt gotten around to calling me. A couple weeks later they came to install the doors. Only 2 of them were installed because they didn't have the correct size threshold for the lower level one. Install took quite a while and when they finished they just left. Didn't clean up after themselves at all. Since they had to cut a larger opening, there was sawdust everyone inside and out. Didn't bother to cover anything. They tracked dirt from my garage through the kitchen. All my master bedroom furniture was dirty. Then the guy said he would be back in a few days to install the other door. Again a week went by and I didnt hear from them. I called Home Depot and they got them to come back out to install the lower level door. Meanwhile we had that horrendous rain storm and the new door in the master bedroom leaked. Water was pouring in from the inset window. There was a gap under the door that was leaking cold air. This was the whole reason we replaced the door! When they came out to install the 3rd door, I had then check it and he caulked where it was leaking, but I told them I wanted a new door. Then after they installed the 3rd door, before they left I checked their work. It looked like CRAP! They cut too large of an opening so there was a 1-1 1/2 inch gap between where the siding left off and the door started. After I insisted they fix it, they put a trim piece in the gap, but it still looked terrible. Later that evening I also notice a huge draft under that door. Meanwhile the kitchen door is drafty and whistles when it is windy. He said the door is warped and once it gets warmer it should straighten out? Several phone calls and a couple of visits later, Home Depot still won't replace the leaky door. They just caulked around the window and after my complaint added caulk and a trim piece under the door. They added caulk and trim downstairs and said in the spring they will come back and replace my siding to go right up to the door and if the kitchen door doesn't fix itself, then they will replace that door. I will hold them to that! Overall very shoddy work, poor quality doors (they are Jeld-Wen) and poor customer service!!

When the appliances arrived the range had a large dent on the side. The delivery men scratched the refrigerator and almost dropped it before it even got into the house. They had to remove the doors of the refrigerator to get it into the house. I heard them drop all of the screws. They put a large scratch in the laminate wood floor bringing in the dented range and I watched them place the range directly over the scratch trying to hide it. I agreed to keep the dented range since I had arranged to have a trusted professional install it the next day. After they left I discovered that they lost one of the screws to the refrigerator door and just placed the plastic cover over the hinge. My floor still has the scratch. I was compensated $100 for the dent in the range. I feel Home Depot could be a little more attentive to such a poor experience and follow up to ensure damages were repaired properly or compensate since our kitchen floor is essentially ruined.
Description of Work: We bought all new appliances at Home Depot. We had them delivered but not installed. The sales staff was very helpful and professional but the delivery was a disaster.
