+ -1 moreI was pleased with the service. The mouse function got knocked out on my computer while I was trying to install some anti virus software so the computer wasn't usable. I called around to a few different providers but liked what I heard from Friendly. I explained my problem and the owner cautioned me to invest repair time in this old XP machine I had. But I needed the mouse to work to transfer files to a new computer eventually so I asked one of his technicians to come out. He was on time and was able to fix the problem and get my mouse working again. He completed the mouse repair fairly quickly and spent the rest of the hour cleaning up some files on my computer so it would work more efficiently and also suggested some better anti virus software to use. I would use them again. They charged a $95 minimum for an approximate hour visit at home. You could probably find a repair service that's somewhat less expensive but I don't mind paying a little more for good service.
Description of Work: The provider repaired my mouse on my home computer through a home visit.

+ -1 moreI e-mailed Friendly Computers this morning with an issue of and quot;Compatability Problemand quot; with a music publishing program; Eric called back within the hour; linked onto my computer; took control of the issue and corrected the problem. I'm back into music publishing and creativity! I can't say enough about the very positive atmosphere and technical expertise of FRIEND COMPUTERS!!
Description of Work: By phone connection (Eric) was able to fix a recurring issue with a "Compatibility" problem with my computer and a music publishing program. This particular tech knows my computer and my limitations when it comes to computers! THis company and Eric are super when it comes to working with me, my limitations and the issue at hand.

Description of Work: It is my pleasure to pass on these comments concerning the work done. I couldn't have asked for anyone better than Eric (except Doc Dave (lol). He was very personable and easy to talk to. I completely computer illiterate and Eric was an absolute God send. He explained all the details in a manner that I could understand. He did an absolute fantastic job and I just wanted to pass on these comments.

Description of Work: I've used Friendly Computers' on-site service for (at least) 6-years. They have worked on two PC's in my home, and sold me one new PC, also for my home. Their on-site service is excellent! They do their best to respond/schedule to your need for service ASAP. There is nothing they can't do...on-site, or in the the shop! I also think it is important to have the same tech (if possible) do the repairs on your PC. Eric knows my PC and my PC needs. I am sold on the services of Friendly Computers!

+ -1 moreI really wished that they would do house calls but they don't. They did a thorough job and my computer is well protected. I have only used them for small things so I'm not really sure how they do on big projects but I would trust them if I ever had a big problem.
