Forest Green Lawn & Landscaping

I did use them this past year, and thought they're very good. I thought they did just a really fine job. They came out, gave us good recommendations, we applied them and our lawn definitely improved in areas that I was hoping to get it to improve.

They did a good job. The price was maybe a little high. They are very professional. They are friendly, fast, and responsive.

Matt created an amazing design for my backyard!! He took the time to listen to my concerns, knew that I wanted something that would be minimal maintenance, sturdy enough for my two big dogs, etc. He actually listened to me and created it! He was very patient with my questions, even came back out again to walk me through what we decided to do (after some more back and forth), was responsive to my calls, etc. Unfortunately the design was a bit over my immediate budget so we decided to split the project in two so the crew did half of the work now (pulling up mulch, black fabric, trimming bushes, cutting back bushes, laying river rock & pavers) and we'll do the planting later this summer. When the crew accidentally split my in-ground sprinkler line Chris (owner) called me quickly and had it fixed next day. They are also replacing some of the grass they had to tear up with more sod once the rains let up. Everyone I've talked to and worked with at the company has been extremely nice and very customer service oriented. I've also set up a weekly mowing service for a competitive price and am doing their monthly lawn care program. I would recommend Forest Green to anyone and everyone and will definitely use again in the future. Thank you Forest Green!

Professional service, showed up as promised, did a good job.

We chose forrest green for our lawn maintenance 6 step program. We contacted Forrest Green for a quote on landscaping and maintenance. Even though we are out of their lawn mowing radius they were willing to start service for us until we got settled and found a lawn mowing service close by. Clynt came by and spent quite a bit of time with us walking the yard to discuss landscape changes we were interested in and even gave suggestions for cost saving areas if we were interested in sweat equity. We are waiting until Spring to do the work (our choice) but did start the lawn program. We have had the first treatment so far. The tech introduced himself, explained what he would do then left a note detailing the work. The process was easy, communication was clear and office staff was very friendly. Very professional organization

Forest Green was prompt, followed through on time and met their commitments for timeline and work with very good quality. No issues.

Estimator came out and discussed our options. Then he took the measurements for a later estimate which was e-mailed within a few days. After I notified him that we would accept his offer he ordered the plants, etc. that would be needed for the project. As soon as everything came in he called and set up an appointment to come out. Three gentlemen came out last week to perform the work. They worked fast but still did a very professional job. The foreman went over the plans before the work was begun just to make sure we were on the same page and during the project if there was a question he would come to the door and ask. After the work was complete we did a walkthrough to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. They replaced free of charge a few plants they planted last year that did not survive. This was my second project with them and needless to say I am 100% happy with the work of Forest Green.

Called for a one-time aeration service. My appointment was scheduled within the week and they did a great job. $40.00 was the total cost.

It went fine. They did break two $5 outdoor solar lights that were stuck in the ground. They didn't mention it on the invoice and I didn't concern myself with it either.

The only negative comment I have is that they walked through the clearly defined shade garden spreading grass seed. If you don't aerate an area why would you spread grass seed and who wants grass in a shade garden.

They were really amazing to work with. I have never done anything to my yard in the years I lived in this house, and it showed. Just a couple of months in on the process they were doing and I saw results. They were alwasy on time, didn't leave gates open (I have a dog and that is always a worry) and left instructions on what they did, and what I needed to do to help the process. My yard looks so much better, and plan on using them again this spring! I actually only got one bid, and that was from them, and I thought it was very fair, and for what they did, I think I chose a great provider!

I've been waiting a long time to get my yard landscaped as we've had more important repairs to do first. I used Angie's list to identify which company I would use. Since Forest Green was rated an A, I called them. They came out on time and walked with me around my yard, and we talked about all of the changes I wanted to make. The employee that came back told me he would email me a design and bid by the end of the next week (this was a Wednesday) and give me a call to meet and go over it. It has been over 4 weeks and I haven't heard back from him or Forest Green. I've called their offices 4 times and each time I speak to a lady who tells me she will have someone call me back, but I still haven't received a call back. I will now look for someone else, who will hopefully tell me if they are too busy to work with me instead of just ignoring me.

They are a great company and provide great customer service. Once I expressed some concern about extra weeds around the edge of my lawn that buts up to a field and it is more susceptible to weeds due to wind etc. Chris the owner, actually sent his guys out to do an additional weed control AT NO CHARGE. I did not expect that. It was very appreciated.

Prompt, efficient, professional

They quoted me $4000 for their services. The people that came out and did the quote were very good. They had a firm understanding of what I was trying to get done because I don’t know anything really about landscaping. So I just kind of took the ball and rolled with it, and they actually gave me some visual sight plans to make it easier. So it was very good and I was very pleased.

I have nothing but positive accolades to extend to Forest Green! Although communication was a bit spotty at times; understand it is the busiest time of the year, Chris/Danny and their team of professionals are absolutely top-notch! A wonderful foundation has been built for a long term business relationship. If you are looking for a conscientious landscaping business that offers great value, look no further than Forest Green! I like the fact that when they came back to do the estimate, they called me while they were here, talked about the problems and that they are very willing to customize the program for me versus using cutters-type program, so they also answered all of my questions because I'm having specific issue. I felt that for the price they offered and the consultation that they had, they were out to go. Their price is pretty reasonable. I hadn't have actually to be here when they're here but they would come during the time that they say they would.

Called Forest Green based on Angie's list reviews. Chris and his crew very responsive and flexible to my needs. Their price for aerating my lawn was very reasonable. They came the next day after I called and did a fantastic job. Overall, they hit it out of the park! We will definitely be using their services in the future for further intensive landscaping work.

I had a great experience. Matt figured out great solutions and I was confident in his recommendations. He clearly knew the plant varieties well. Deer are our biggest problem. I am confident in going forward with his suggestions knowing that he too care to select plants that deer don't typically bother. We have not yet had the landscaping installed yet as I am waiting until later this summer or early fall. Matt was upfront that he had a lot of projects to complete that week and asked kindly of he could have a few extra days. That was no problem for me and I appreciated asking upfront instead of waiting to hear back weeks later. They were very accommodating and professional. I was surprised to learn that they don't charge for design services up front. I will be happy to hire them to install our landscaping.

They provided a prompt quote and were very professional in providing the service. We had work being done on our fence at the same time (and on our sprinkler system) and they were very accommodating. The yard is definitely looking a lot better with their treatments.

It was fine. I thought they were fine, their pricing was like per service, it didn't really have like a package price, everything was you pick and choose which things you want and I wanted a package so I did not go with them. I probably won't use them again just based on their pricing options.

We need some work done in our backyard. Contacted Forest Green for an estimate and landscape design ideas. Chose based on Angie's List reviews. They quoted a reasonable price for work needed (comparable to other estimates), and created a nice looking landscape design. They were able to come out to view our yard within a week or so of calling them, and when they arrived they were prompt and professional. They had a great book of all their landscaping plants that showed what things looked like in various seasons. It really helped us to have something to look at and get ideas of what we liked. They let us look at the book while they took measurements of the yard and then we were able to show them what caught our eye. They used that info in creating a landscape design. The design looked really nice and the price quoted was comparable to other estimates. I think they are a pretty popular and busy company because it did take a couple of weeks before we heard back with the estimate and design. In the end, we wound up liking another design just a little bit better so went with a different company. Have nothing bad to say about Forest Green though!

When I called to set up the appointment the office staff was very friendly. Since it was my first time getting service I was put through to the owner. He was very helpful and pleasant. He explained that due to the forecast they may not get out until the following week, this was still faster than I was expecting. The following week on the first day we had good weather, I came home from work and my yard looked amazing!!!! The guys did an immaculate job cleaning up the debris from the power raking. I was really shocked. My yard looks soo much better, and the grass looks happier. Thank you!!!!!!
