Exterior Solutions

This company took my deposit for a new roof and gutters back in October. I have not seen or talked to them in months. The work hasn't been done. The owner won't return my phone calls. I was promised a completed roof back in November and it is June now and I still have not had the work done. I can not get anyone at the company to respond to me. Please do not use this company. Please do not give them any of your money. You will end up like me without a repaired roof and without your deposit money. They have made dealing with this kind of home repair a nightmare. I wish I had never done any business with them at all!

Sales rep did not show up on time for first appointment. Price and overall quality of products were good. However the installation was inadequate. Work was not completed on time per contract. Two windows were installed incorrectly. Contractor was argumentative about fixing problems and fulfilling labor warranty. I tried to resolve an outstanding problem with a new window through the BBB arbiritration process unsuccessfully. Issue was resolved in my favor through small claims court and use of another contactor. The paint on the siding is fading after 2 years even though paint was supposed to be long lasting. Contractor was less than professional at returning calls and dishonest in explanations.

We asked for a bid to replace/repair siding and repaint the exterior of our home from several companies and went with this company because they were a local husband/wife team. The paint looks great and they were very professional at first. Two days after the painting was complete, a portion of a bird box broke off because it was old. When we contacted them to ask why they hadn't checked everything, as they said they would, the lady started to argue with us and said that she thought "we wanted to go the cheap way and not fix everything." The huge problem we had was that they lied about what needed to be fixed and her utter contempt for customers.

They did such a terrible job that we are now having all of our sidings replaced. They were responsive. They were very pleasant to deal with and they gave us a very good price. But now we understand why because they didn’t do a very good job. They took a lot of short cuts. All of the siding is falling off of our house. So we are having someone come out to repair them. He walked us round and showed us what they did wrong. Basically all of them have to be redone.

This guy did a great job considering he had an awful lot of wiring to do. The price was all covered on contract from the home builder remodeling contract, but he single handedly did an indescribable job.
