It is a rare that I write a review. Having had the opportunity of meeting and working with Brent and his team recently though it is a pleasure to recommend their service to others. They were quick to respond once the package was purchased and communicated quickly to reschedule when unexpected weather delayed our original appointment time. Once on the job they went above and beyond what I expected! They were at all times professional, efficient and effective. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Following the severe hail storm on 5/9/16, I called Everlast Exteriors after being told by White Castle Roofing that they (White Castle) couldn't even give me a ballpark as to when they might be able to replace my roof and gutters. The summary of this tale is that Everlast Exteriors did the work they promised, at the price they promised, more or less according to the time frame they promised. They made sure I was satisfied before they ever tried to bill me, and that's the way it should be. I would hire them again if needed. More Details... When I first called Everlast, Brent (the owner) assured me that they could get my roof replaced fairly soon. I asked how soon was fairly soon, and he said "first week in August". So I had him come out and take a look at my insurance paperwork; one of my criteria was that they must do the work for the amount of the insurance estimate. Initially Brent was reluctant to meet the estimate amount, saying that my insurance company is known for being stingy (my words, not his), but when he realized that whoever I selected to replace my roof would have a chance to also do the other half of the townhouse I live in, he told me that if that worked out, then he could do the work for the amount of the insurance estimate, and even reduce the cost of the work by the amount of my $250 deductible. So we agreed. At that time, I asked him again when the work would be done, and he said "first week in August". At the end of the last week in July, I hadn't heard anything back so I called Brent and he told me they were running a bit behind due to the extreme heat lately. I told him ok, I can understand that, but I don't want to have the date changed again. So he said ok, we'll be there on Tuesday (8/9/16). Sure enough, the crew showed up on 8/9/16 - at about 10:30 in the morning - and got to work. And I knew they were coming because a semi had delivered all the materials to my house (and hoisted most of it onto the roof) on the day before the work was to be done. The crew pulled off all the old shingles and the ice and water shield and dumped the debris into a dumptrack they'd backed up into my driveway. I wasn't quite sold on the level of care they were taking to do everything correctly - for example I could hear a large amount of debris raining down into the drier vent opening when they'd removed the old vent - but I didn't know whether or not that was normal or preventable, so I didn't say anything about it. Some of their hammering was hard / heavy enough to knock down spackling / dust from my ceilings and onto the furniture / floors, but it wasn't a really huge deal. It was very hot outside and they took several breaks, bivouacking under a tree on my front lawn, and by about 5:45 they had finished removing the old roof and laying down new ice and water shield over the entire roof. They adjourned for the day. The next morning (Wednesday, 8/10) they came back and finished the job, more or less. I'm a complete novice when it comes to such things, but the shingles and valleys looked pretty good to me. However, one of the exhaust vents looked awful, with smears and debris all over it, and another one in the back of the house had been left with a plastic boot over it, which not only looked awful but also didn't match the one in front. There were a few places where debris was hanging from the rake of the roof, and the gutters had not been touched. I e-mailed Brent 'before' and 'after' pictures of the house showing him what needed to be corrected before I could issue payment. I also called him to ask when the gutters were going to be done; Brent told me that the gutter truck, which has the equipment that cuts custom-lengths of gutter, was in the shop, and that he had 'had no idea how much it costs to fix the brakes on a truck like that'. As a result, the gutter work would be delayed another week or two at the most. He assured me that the remaining issues from the roof work would be corrected when the gutter work was done. The gutter crew came when Brent told me they would, around two weeks after the roof had been done. They did what seems like a good job of replacing the gutters and downspouts, working well into the darkness that evening. They didn't quite complete the job in one day. That first afternoon, I noticed that when they'd torn one of the gutters down in front of the house, it had scraped up a painted pillar on its way down. I tried to clean it up but it wouldn't clean. I showed this to one of the gutter crew and he apologized and assured me they'd get it taken care of. The next morning, as I mentioned, the job hadn't quite been done. On the previous three occasions that I had had workers on site, they left without saying a word, so I didn't know whether or not they were planning to come back. I took some more pictures of the unfinished corners, the pieces of which were piled in a corner of my backyard, etc., and sent them to Brent by email. It turns out I probably need not have bothered; the crew was always planning to come back and finish, I think. They showed up at about 9:00 or so that morning and set right to work finishing things up. They finished the gutters, removed most of the debris from the roof rake, cleaned up both of the exhaust vents, and then rang my doorbell and asked me to check everything out and make sure it was all good. As I was looking things over walking around the exterior, they were literally putting the finishing touches and polish on a few things that needed it. I pointed out one last item of roof rake debris they'd overlooked, which they immediately took care of. They had somehow managed to correct the scraped up front pillar to the point that you can't see anything happened. I think they actually spray-painted it, but that WAS appropriate for this type of finish / surface and they had the right color, so that you can't really tell anything ever happened unless you know exactly where to look and look VERY closely. I was actually really impressed that they managed to make it look as good as new. They cleaned everything up nice and neat and left no trace that they'd been there (other than the new gutters and downspouts). It wasn't until a few days after they left - taking the remaining materials from my driveway with them - that I received a copy of the invoice from Everlast. The amount was exactly as promised by Brent - I didn't have to pay a penny out of pocket, in this case. They did the work for the insurance estimate amount minus my deductible amount. They had also timely sent the invoice along to my insurance company as required (since I had to wait to be paid for recoverable depreciation from the insurance company until the work had been completed). They never said another word to me about the invoice. I waited until I literally had the depreciation check in hand from the insurance company - about two weeks later - and then mailed the full payment to Everlast. So again, overall, they did the work they promised, at the price they promised, and more or less on the schedule they promised. Some parts of the process could have been more professional, but overall they lived up to their good rating here on this site.

Excellent! The house is transformed with the new paint and gutter color. They also performed some repairs on rotted wood for an additional charge to the original estimate. We used to have water pouring over the gutters with heavy rainstorms and backups in the gutters, but now everything flows smoothly and the 5" gutters help clear all our locust tree droppings from the roof instead of getting clogged. We are very impressed by the cost and quality of work. Brent Hall, the owner, was very easy to work with. He gave an honest and fair price, completed the work on scheduled and several of our neighbors have commented on the transformation. We have already recommended him to friends & other service people who have come to the house.

We used Everlast Exteriors to repair a roof leak on one of our rental properties and they did an excellent job, at a fraction of the price compared to the other quotes we received. We then had Everlast Exteriors replace the roof on our personal home and it looks great! They did a wonderful job and we couldn't be happier!!

Everlast Exteriors was replacing our neighbor's roof so we had them come and take a look at a reoccurring roof leak we had for quite some time. We had several other local roofing companies out to try and fix the leak but none of them could figure it out. Everlast Exteriors repaired the roof, permanently and we have been leak free since! They also replaced our gutters and downspouts and they look great! They do great work and are very respectful.

They gave us an estimate and did no maintenance. Said that would be done when they came back out to do the $500 worth of work they recommended.
Description of Work: Gave us an estimate for more work. There was no maintenance done when they came out. Would not use the Angie's list package again because I guess I missed the part where the $99 I paid only got me a call for them to come out and give an estimate for other work. The date of service is incorrect. I do not even remember when they came out. I will have to go back in my records.

Hi [Member Name Removed]. If you read the coupon it states that it covers minor repairs if additional work is needed you will receive a $100 discount/credit. Your attic was not ventilated properly. We recommended adding all new soffit vents and baffles. This is not something that fits under the parameters of the coupon or could be done for $99. We did discount the quote $100. Good day.

Brent provided a verbal estimate for the repairs within one day of my initial call. We then had a couple of follow up calls to schedule the work around the weather. Brent either answered the phone directly or called me back promptly. The work was scheduled and Brent and his crew showed up on the date and time as promised. They replaced several areas of Masonite siding that had rotted. The work was good quality and was completed in one day. I would not hesitate to use this Company again.

Brent responded quickly after I purchased the Angie's list deal ($65 for inspection and $100 towards service). The repair person was able to come and complete the repair 3 days later. My only complaint is I was confused how to pay. The repair person left after he finished the repair w/o a word. I was sent an invoice and an explanation of repairs after I asked for it. Also, they only accept cash or check on repairs, even-though I paid the initial $65 through pay-pal on Angie's list. I probably would have put the repair off, since it wasn't urgent, until after Christmas if I had know.

Everlast Exteriors repaired a leak I've had for several years and which was "repaired" by others at least six times. It turns out the leak was from rain coming through the brick work which had been in place since 1988. They were able to provide all of the tuck pointing necessary to further prevent that problem, as well as replacing several shingles, the flashing around the chimney and a new cap on top. Everlast also provided a life-time guarantee for their work.

Every corner of my gutters leaked. In the winter I always had icicles hanging from them. Everlast came and spent about three hours cleaning and caulking each and every corner. I think there was about twelve corners that were repaired. Since the work was completed, I haven't seen a drop fall from any corner. I am looking forward to see how they work in the winter. I trust they will be fine.
