Description of Work: They replaced the roof and vents, and gutters and gutter guards damaged by the hail storm the previous year. Although they were prompt and on schedule I had to call them a couple of times to get some minor things done that were in the estimate. And within a month I noticed a water stain in the master bedroom, they fixed the leak, but never sent a painter over to repaint the stain like they said they would.

+ -1 moreThe estimate was at no cost. He explained in detail what would need to be done to replace the shingles on our Mansard roof. It is not a typical roof so it required specific treatment to ensure shingles attach well. The roofing crew were all very polite and professional. They seemed to be hard workers and cleaned all the debris around our house after the job was complete. We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Replaced our entire Mansard style roof with high quality shingles.

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased with the Emerald rep (Terry O'Connor), the work, the clean-up, and the price. Terry even grouted around our skylight without charge. Our only beef was with American Family Insurance. We were surrounded by homes getting new roofs. Out of 157 homes in the development, only five were denied roof replacement, and at least three of the five were with American Family.
Description of Work: Inspected the hail-damaged wood-shingle roof and siding and met with the insurance company's rep. Replaced the siding, gutters, and downspouts -- excellent work. Our insurance company declined to repair the roof. After three different inspectors provided by the insurance company agreed that a new roof was not warranted , we signed a contract with Emerald, agreeing to pay them ourselves. When we had second thoughts, Emerald allowed us to withdraw from that and pursue legal action with the insurance company.

Description of Work: Fast response to cover my broken skylight , the roof and skylight was replaced within 2 weeks. They went a step beyond to have the skylight tinted for me as requested. Great looking roof and a clean yard.
