+ -1 moreGreat. Tonight I'm cool. I'll await the results of the dye testing to see if a leak in the a/c system might be ascertained. I've pretty much already decided to get a new furnace with greater energy efficiency. The decision that awaits me is whether to "fix" the existing a/c or go heat pump. Either way, it's this firm. I'll post again whenever whatever decision I make is acted upon. It's just nice to be in the driver's seat. The only other place I've felt like this is at the Lexus dealership here in Omaha.
Description of Work: My air conditioner froze up. Having a 10 year old a/c & 15+ year old furnace I became interested in exploring options to replace both. Being frugal (spouse says cheap) I obtained bids for replacements seeking to get perhaps a heat pump. This firm addressed many, many questions after I did considerable research on my own and provided more good info along with references. I am presently in the throes of running a dye check to discern if the a/c portion might prudently be salvaged. Two trips to my house, a charge, dye, superb discussions with no pressure, and an assurance this $135 could apply to a later a/c & furnace purchase should I so elect. I'm having it my way with prudent suggestions from the firm and, after all, it is the consumer who ought to be driving the show!

+ -1 moreWe've used Donovan Brothers Heating & Cooling for our regular maintenance on our air conditioning and furnace system for the past couple of years. When I knew we had a problem we called them as they would be the ones to turn to. They were able to trouble shoot the problem right away and get us fixed up in no time at all.
Description of Work: They repaired a main line on central air conditioning unit.
