It was tough to get them to start the project because if a bigger job came up then we would get pushed back on the schedule. I called the owner one time to get them started on my deck and he told me that he was on a big job and couldn't get to us. When I asked him why, he said, "Do you want me to leave a big job and come over and tear down your deck?" I told him yes, but that did no good. All of this was after I gave him a sizable down payment. When the deck was finished a couple of months after it was promised, I paid off the balance less a couple of hundred dollars because it was to late in the year for them to stain the deck as agreed. The following spring they completed the staining and I paid them off. Later, that year I called the owner complaining that the stairs wobbled a lot when going up and down. He said that is the way it is supposed to be and refused to do anything about it. I had to attach to 4" X 4" to the stairs to stop it from wobbling. I discovered a year later that when the deck was constructed it was actually three inches too far to the east. I noticed it was off because the railing on that side came loose. It was being held by two nails that worked their way out. I had to use L-brackets to attach the railing securely to the house. I would like to mention that our deck is about 10' off the ground and someone could have been severely injured if they had leaned against that railing that DeckPros installed.
Description of Work: I hired DeckPros to remove the existing deck and replace it.

No good.
Description of Work: Paid $40K for a new deck three years ago and had quality issues within first year...fading of Trex decking and deformation of deck in several areas...concave areas, etc. Constant attempts to contact Deck Pros, Trex and local Trex dealer with no real result. Deck Pros unresponsive for three years. No return of repeated calls, etc. absolute frustration. Wouldn't advise anyone to do business with them.
