D & K HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE

I called this past Monday to set up a technician visit. I spoke with Kathy and said someone would be out on Wednesday or Thursday also it could be sooner as crews were working quickly. I received a call from Kathy on Wednesday (today) morning stating that the first available time would now be the following Tuesday. She stated there has been an influx of maintenance/warranty customers and they are priority. So this company gave me a day when they would be out, a few days later changed it to almost a week later, and essentially told me that other people are more important than me. Very frustrating when my AC is not working, now I have wasted a few days and find a new company to work with. This is just my experience with one person. I cannot speak to how the work of this company is. However my experience is this company does not honor their commitments and value other people over me.

We decided in spring that we needed to install a new a/c unit (ours was 30 years old). We scheduled the work for early summer. We were out of town part of the intervening time and one of D&K's techs stopped by our house every couple of weeks just to make sure the old one was trundling along. The installation was done in a day which included re-running a lot of the lines because we moved the new unit to the other side of the house. We'd taken down a lot of ceiling tiles in the basement for another reason and the techs (Joe & Zak?) even put the ceiling tiles back. Two days after the install, our new unit took a shot in Omaha's July windstorm. D&K were there the next day (a Saturday) to evaluate and re-start the unit. Very professional, friendly, and responsive.

D & K is a professional company and I completely trust their technicians to keep our heating and air conditioning to run smoothly. I have been using their services for years and I have always been pleased. I will continue to use their services in the future and I would highly recommend them to others.
