Description of Work: Installed siding. They were quick. The install was done in one day. The manager stopped by to see how things were going...we had a couple of things changed. So far we have had nothing to complain about. Everyone was polite and easy to get along with. I prefer people who work on my property to not smoke.

Description of Work: Replacing old windows with vinyl windows is expensive. Champion had reasonable pricing and the salesperson had a good suggestion of replacing a couple of side-by-side windows (that were rarely opened) with one picture window. The other window people did not think of this. Also, the warranty was a big selling point.

Description of Work: Replaced 5 windows and front entry door with skylight. The items were ordered in August and we still do not have the correct items after 7 months. We were told it would take 5 weeks for lead time and installation. Because of their mistakes with the order and our inavailability due to a family illness/death the windows and door were not installed until November. And almost the entire order was wrong. Wrong style of window, wrong screens, wrong hardware, wrong color on the door. The items were supposed to be reordered as a rush order. And the factory finally got them to us in early March. And they still didn't get it correct. We are still waiting for our entry door with the correct color after 7 months. We had used Champion to reside our home about 6 years ago and were pleased with the product, service and installation. This time, we're not completely satisfied with the quality, and we're very unhappy with the service from management and the factory. The installation crew however, was great.

 + -1 moreThe installers were professional, very fast, on time and neat. There was nothing left but some sawdust. The only complaint I have is that they broke one window during installation and we are still waiting on that window to be replaced. They have since explained the delay and we have an installation date scheduled. But I had to hound them to get that information rather than them proactively informing me. Overall, happy we went with Champion, very pleased with installation experience and now we can't hear anything that goes on outside which is great. We still have a few windows that need replaced in the future. We will not hesitate to go with Champion again.
Description of Work: Needed to replace several windows in our house. Received estimates from 3 companies (Renewal by Anderson, Pella, Champion). They all did long annoying sales presentations and they all had something negative to say about the others. But after a lot of research and going to the showrooms, going with Champion was a no-brainer. Pros: only one with a lifetime guarantee on the windows, parts and screens, lowest price, vinyl windows seemed clearly the highest quality including the durability of the crank out mechanism.

 + 0 moreWindows were ordered and they came in early. Champion windows called and set up appointment to install. Work was completed in one day and installation, clean-up and removal of old windows was done. Had a problem with replacing wood that was rotten. Had to tell installer to replace more wood that he intended. Called them back to recaulk around window frames. Overall good work. 06/07/2010 Since they installed the windows the product has begun to fail. I had have them come out and redo some of the work. I am still not satisfied. They did not replace the rotten wood as promised. I had them come out and remove the molding and reseal. Their installer brought his son out to help who is not employed by the company. He stated I was present during the installation procedure and I was, but I was only asked to check the work once it was covered. I would not use them again and would not recommend them.
Description of Work: Replaced 6 windows, used prairie style. Excellent product.

I didn't have one complaint about the work that they did. I was thrilled with the work that they did, and their ability to inform me of what was going on. I felt that they were a very ethical company to deal with and that their work was above average.
Description of Work: They sided our home and put insulation up as well. We live in a rather large ranch house.

 + 3 moreThey did a wonderful job and the house looked great. We have noticed a big savings in our utility bills, so we knew the quality of the materials were as good as they said they would be. Like a lot of people, we had some wind damage and the company got right out here and repaired it.
Description of Work: They installed new vinyl siding on my 2500 square foot home and also replaced the gutters and eaves. They replaced 12 triple pane regular windows, one door, one sliding glass door and 2 single garage doors.

I had a lot of assistance in selecting the door and they came over the next day to install it. It was done very quickly and the new door has a much tighter seal than the old one.

Description of Work: They installed sixteen windows in my home because the old ones were wood and they were rotting and falling apart. They were not very energy efficient so we replaced them with two sided double pained windows and we had low E coating put on them as well.

I was surprised that they took and disposed of every last drop of the garbage from the old windows. They were fantastic and very polite.
Description of Work: I had ten double pane windows and two sliding glass doors installed in my split entry home. The price included removal of old windows.
