I rarely write reviews but I think everyone needs to understand what they are getting into when working with this company. I am in the process of building a deck and came to Builders Supply after creating a plan to get a bid on the materials. Their deck rep was knowledgeable about their products and helped us reduce our materials after looking at our plans and making adjustments. I resubmitted those plans to the city and worked on taking time off from work to complete my project. I was able to take off a week in July and had footing pads approved for my job instead of cement footings. I was emailing Builders Supply regularly with any changes and let them know my start date when I wanted the supplies delivered (the Monday of my week off) the Wednesday prior. I dug my footings on Sunday. On Monday morning, I called to see when my supplies would be delivered. Not only did their guy NOT put the order in, when he went to complete the order, they didn’t have the footing pads in stock! That is literally the next step in this project. I had them rush the delivery of everything else and that still didn’t get delivered until Tuesday night. It is now Wednesday night and I am at a stand still until they can get those pads. I wanted to be DONE with this project by Thursday so I could get our patio furniture put together on Friday. I have gotten one apology this whole time and I still don’t know when the pads will be in because they couldn’t get a tracking number from their supplier which means they didn’t require overnight shipping! On top of that, a lot of the lumber is split on the ends and the pieces I used for the ledger board were really warped. Horrible customer service, poor quality product and much more expensive than buying at a big box store. I was offered no discount for this huge delay and now I’ll gave to complete this job after work for the next week, IF THE FOOTING PADS EVER COME IN!

It's worth it to take the time to see the roofing material on other houses. You're going to have that roof for decades, so you want to be sure it's the color you want.

They gave us an estimate first. Two guys came out and blew it in. It was about 18 inches of insulation that they blew in over the attic. We priced them against a big box store and they were a couple of hundred dollars less. They said they would match all the same guarantees that the box store had.

The prices were excellent and the product quality was excellent. We have used them before which is why we went back to them. We ordered some windows and picked them up about 3 weeks later. They were exactly what we wanted. The same salesman came out and measured our house. He took the time and he was kind. He made sure that we have just what we were thinking about. For such big custom windows it was an excellent price. They were the best value around. They were kind, courteous. They deliver when they say they are going to deliver.

.They service was great. They made it simple and got right down to business instead of dragging it out. They gave an estimate over the phone which was great and pretty accurate. They seemed to know what they were doing and it wasn't messy. They did clean it all up.

They have very good selection. The salesmen are knowledgeable. I would definitely use them in the future.

I was impressed with the man that came out. He was very friendly and very thorough. Their bid was very reasonable. I just didn't do the work. I was impressed and they did a fine job. They were very helpful and spent some time with me. I might still do the work.

Builders Supply did an excellent job answering all my questions regarding purchase and installation. The salesman explained the advantages and disadvantages of each one without exerting any pressure for me to purchase any particular one. Since the triple pane was not in stock, it had to be special ordered. Three weeks later they arrived and they were both delivered to my home. They were brought inside my home and placed where I asked. No charge at all for delivery! I did the installation myself with no problems at all.

Punctual. Quick. Courteous. AND, when the job was done the bill was about $150 less than the estimate. They measure actual product used when figuring the final bill.

I am replacing some siding and since the attic area was open anyway, I decided to add more blown in insulation. They arrived 30 minutes early. It was a hot humid 95 degree afternoon. The job was complete in less than 30 minutes. The two men were friendly and more than willing to answer my questions. I was quite pleased. They had a 4 inch diameter hose from the truck parked in the street that went all the way across my yard, up the ladder, over the roof and into the attic. One man went into the attic with the hose while the other operated the truck equipment. I was quite impressed with the speed and quality. Some of the material spilled over onto the roof shingles. When they were finished, they reversed the air flow and vacuumed up the excess material with the same hose.

Builders Supply was very responsive. They showed up when they said they would. I was impressed with how quickly they moved from room to room taking out the windows. They also cleaned everything up before they installed the new windows. They carried themselves in a manner where I felt I could trust them.
