Baltazar's Stone Inc

We originally called them to see if they would give us an estimate on refacing our fireplace. We wanted a wood mantle and surround and wood wainscoating on the top above the fireplace. There would be some stone work and we might go all stone under the mantle instead of a wood surround. Besides looks it depended on cost. They referred me to David Weiss because he would be able to do the stone work and the wood work. It ended up that we did all stone from the floor to ceiling. We did purchase our stone from them and the salesperson spent an unbelievable amount of time helping me pick out the color of stone and color of grout. They worked hard to get the stone cut when we needed it. It was a good experience where they put the customer first.

The orginal install the workers wanted to place pieces of stone on the surface. We stopped them and asked for a single slab as the landing stone. While this resulted in initial confusion the situation was resolve quickly when we spoke to the owner. He understood our concern and adjusted the plan to meet our expectations. While that delayed the install about one week the results were better than we could have imagined. I would highly recommend this company for all your stone work.

Bid was very reasonable. It was the best of 3 we received from various masons or tile installers. On the job exactly as agreed. Cleaned area when done.. We would hire them again. Beautiful craftsmanship! We have a stunning new fireplace.
