BACKLUND PLUMBING

Our Plumber was fantastic! He quickly identified the problem and fixed the bad connection (and even changed out the other fitting as well to ensure there would be no further problems). Needless to say, we have a new go to plumbing company and could not have been more satisfied!

2 man crew, went well, both were friendly and efficient.

This projects were handled very well. They explained options very well. They were quick, punctual, knowledgeable and friendly.

Plumber came out, he was running about an hour behind what we had been told. When he got here he got right to work. Got the old solder copper pipes off and put new flex hosing on so if we made changes in the future we can unscrew them.

He set up an appointment and did not show. When we called to check on him, he said he didn't come out unless he was called on the morning of the appt. We were not told that and then were informed we would have to wait 2 weeks for another time for an estimate. I had 3 plumbers set up for estimates. Two came on time and gave estimates. Backlund was non-responsive and then got testy on the phone when I asked them to come anyway the day they were scheduled. The estimator said if you don't call in the morning, you lose your spot.

They are quick and responsive, professional, and have the ability to find a problem and fix it.

Decent. Are they supposed to charge you for driving time? They charged us for 1/2 an hour more than they were there. In other words, they were there just under an hour, but we were charged for 1.5 hours. Had we only been charged for an hour, then this would probably be an "A" review.

It went very well. The interaction with the worker was very good. It took four hours.

The plumber found the problem very quickly and had the parts to fix the problem with him. Mike B was very professional and helpful. We appreciated the quick repairs and the upfront estimate of the cost of repairs. We will definitely call this company again for any of our plumbing needs!

Bid was good. Were scheduled to arrive on Friday at 8:00 am, by 8:30 am, was not here and no call. I called the company and they said, he would be here shortly. The plumber called me at 8:45 am and said he would be here by 10:00 am with an assistant. The plumber was on time, the assistant showed up at noon, could not finish the job and left at 7:00 pm. Called the owner of the company on Saturday at 9:00 am, was not there so, I left a message. He did not return my call till 4:30 pm and said he could not do anything until Monday. By now, I am not happy! The tub was in-correctly installed and repairs had to be made for surround to be installed. Plumber had to make a brace and took wood out of our garage and did not tell me.

Had to move washer and refrigerator, and cut hole in drywall to access leaky pipe. Leaky pipe was located near the floor, Section of pipe was replaced between downstairs and the main level. Erik was outstanding, explained everything clearly, and was professional in every way.

They were supposed to be here at a set time and didn't show so we had to call another provider after several hours witch was Burton.

Made contact through Angie's List Received phone call from Backlund to set up appointment within a couple hours. Both drain cleaning and garbage disposal installation were performed the same day I contacted Backlund. Rick and Lucas were punctual, courteous, and efficient. I did not compare price with anyone because I wanted the drain unclogged as soon as possible. I received a 10% senior discount. Backlund was a much better experience than previous plumbers I have experienced.

Mike was the Plumber that arrived after my call. Day after a holiday and very cold. I had a plumber on site within four hours. He accurately estimated the cost and repair/time. Good guy. Good business...I'm asking them to come back and bid on a real plumbing job!

Our kitchen sink clogged on Christmas eve so I called and left a message. They responded with a call at 8 a.m. on the 26th of December. By 10 that morning they had a technician, Mike, out to unclog the drain. He was very professional and had the sink unclogged in about 20 minutes. He said, and I could see, that we needed a plumber out to properly reattach things. He did temporarily seal things back up. Then we scheduled a 1 p.m. appointment for the plumber to come on Tuesday the 30th. On Tuesday they called to say that they had a plumber, Chad, who could be out earlier than planned If I would like and I said sure! Within an half hour after the call he arrived. It took him about an hour and now out kitchen sink is back, better than ever. What was so amazing is that I'd never done business with them before and they were as attentive to me as though I'd been with them for years. They also told me that they were working with only a skeleton crew due to the holidays. I'm grateful they treated me as they did and they'll be the company I call for any future plumbing needs.

I called because my water heater quit working. The person who answered the phone seemed annoyed that I was calling the day after Christmas and kept sighing. She told me that they had a skeleton crew and wouldn't even be able to get anyone out until tomorrow at the earliest. No thanks. The other company I went with was courteous, had someone here in hours and it was a simple fix that I was happy to pay for.

I messaged Backlund Plumbing today for a problem I'm having with my hot water heater. There was a very quick response to contact Tom, the service manager. Tom walked me through my problem and told me how I could very easily fix it myself. He was very professional, polite, and patient. Tom also asked that I send him photos of the sticker on my hot water heater so that he may have the model and serial number in case this doesn't work he could have the parts on hand. I've never had a company do something so kind, especially around the holidays! He may have just saved me from a charge where another had quoted me $400, despite the hot water heater still being under the manufacturer's warranty. Backlund has just earned themselves a lifelong customer, great word of mouth recommendations, and amazing reviews whenever I can hand them out. :) Update: My own luck, Tom's advice didn't work. However, I promptly called and scheduled an appointment. Rich just left, the price charged was for less than what we were quoted (quote: $225, actual cost: $171), he was also kind enough to point out that we had left our water hose attached to the house and in this winter weather that could cause problems, the work on the water heater was done swiftly, and on his way out, he unscrewed the water hose. I can say that I've never been happier to deal with a plumbing company.

On Friday the 9th of May an installer spent about 6 to 7 hours doing the work. Upon completion, I decided to wait for the city inspector before paying. The work was done incorrectly. The manager came out and looked at the work and agreed that it had been done incorrectly. He sent another plumber out on the 22nd of May who corrected all the work taking about two hours. It passed inspection by the city inspector. I was only charged for the materials and time of the second plumber.

Initially had main line cleaned with follow up to have the line checked with a camera and then jetted. Had 2 appts. Both times the staff showed up on time, performed work, and explained what they were doing and why. They were professional and I would use their services again.

I have had many different plumbing companies in the past and I feel they are the best in the Omaha area. They get the job done correctly and the cost for their service is fair.

Mike arrived on time, shut off the water and replaced the taps. He was very neat and professional.

Mike was on time, courteous, efficient and clean. Great service.

We scheduled an appointment where were given a 12:00-2:00 timeframe. We did not hear from the plumber until 4:00 stating he would arrive in about 30 minutes. At 4:50 he knocked at the door. Once in he did a great job with the shower, but was unable to work on the shower drain. We paid and he left about 6:15.

The plumber was on the early side of the estimated time of arrival and completed the job in about 45 minutes. He was friendly and cleaned up after unclogging the drain.

Called at 7:45 am and Mike arrived at 9 am. He was professional and explained problem. Have used Backlund Plumbing previously for bathroom remoldeling.
